I made this little card last night for the Bombshell Stamps Tic Tac Toe Challenge!
I actually incorporated 2 rows from the board into my card - firstly: pearls, pink & glitter and secondly: pink, something new (the Bombshell image) & roses!!
I love this sweet Gingerbread "Pin-Up" which is from a digi sheet by Bombshell Stamps and the "Warm Wishes" is also a Bombshell Sentiment!!! I used the new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches to layout the card.
You know I love to create with PINK!!!

My Knight in Shining Armour...
May 30th 2012
It's time for the Dude Time Doodles New Release Blog Hop for this month!! DTD have released some more fun "male" images so make sure you join our hop to see the new designs!!
I've made a CAS Card using "Sagremor the Foolhardy" - LOL - he looks "dashing" doesn't he???? My card uses all metallic papers & card. I printed the image directly onto my base card and then printed part of the image which I cut out and mounted onto the base card. I added a bit of "sparkle" using some silver Stickles and added a silver cord bow to the spine.
Now it's time for you to head over to Ruth's Blog - you should have come to me from Tammy's Blog.
Hope you enjoy all the great creations and remember the new images are available in the store!
Dude Time Doodles are also sponsoring a few challenges this week:
Firstly over at Stamping with the Dragon have a "Heroes" theme challenge - my "Knight in Shining Armour" is certainly my hero LOL!!!
And secondly Tuesday Throwdown have a "Masculine" theme challenge - just perfect for all our Dude Time Doodles creations!!!

A fantastic sponsor this week at The Cheerful Stamp Pad - Stampotique - who were very generous & provided the DT with stamps for this theme!!
The images I have used are "Moth Fab" & doesn't she look "fab"!!!! Along with "La Dolce Vita" - The (Italian) Sweet Life Sentiment. I have coloured "Moth" with Copic Markers and stamped the sentiment twice with co-ordinating coloured ink.
The background has been done with patterned papers using the "Herringbone Technique" which you can find at the Splitcoast Stampers site and layered on coloured card with fibres added to the top.
Remember this challenge runs for 2 weeks so get creating and show us what makes your life "sweet"!!

Think Pink
May 26th 2012
I've made this little easel card today for several things - firstly it's Beverly's "Fourth" Year Pink Saturday Birthday Celebration so I am linking my card to her blog!
And I've discovered a new challenge blog "Link Up For Pink" - for Breast Cancer - a great cause! I have a friend who has just finished treatment so I just had to join their new challenge!
Their challenge is psonosred by A Day For Daisies so I've used the "Bewildered" image again and constructed my card with pink card and patterned paper and a sentiment from CS Designs. I made the little pink ribbon with pink diamanti! I used a Spellbinder Die Cut set to cut out the image and frame - I love this fancy shape!

Believe in Yourself

I made a card some time ago using this Herringbone Technique (instructions at Splitcoast Stampers) and loved the effect of it so I decided to make this Black/White /Yellow card with a sentiment from CS Designs and butterfly collage image from Art Tea Life.
I think this technique is a great way to use up scraps of patterned and coloured paper too!!

A Frame of Mind
May 22nd 2012
A brand new challenge at Art With No Boundaries for the next fortnight - we want to see you use "frames" on your creations - I'm sure you will all come up with some amazing inspiration for this one!
The Designers have used some new designs from CS Designs this week - I have used the "Striped Circular Petal Frame" to make this soft pink Asian Themed card and I have framed the "Framed Geisha 2 Design" also from CS Designs.
I used a beautiful variegated serviette to "cover" my white base card, I cut the centres from the Circular Frame and placed the Asian Geisha behind the large frame. I wrapped metallic thread around the smaller frames and added some torn textured paper and Japanese flower stickers to complete the front of my card. The frames & Geisha image have been coloured with Copic Markers.
Remember you have 2 weeks to enter our challenge! And our DT Call is still open - you will find all the details on the challenge blog!
I am also entering my card in the current Divas by Design Challenge Blog as they have a "Tickled Pink" challenge!! And I've also entered it at Make it Monday in their Anything Goes Challenge!

Bewildered
May 20th 2012
I couldn't resist buying a few more Digital Stamps today LOL!!! This card uses one of the "Bewildered" Designs from A Day For Daisies - I just loved the "look" of this image and couldn't resist - she has a bit of a vintage "feel"!
I am entering it in the current A Day For Daisies Challenge which has a theme of "Go Vintage or Add Polka Dots" but it mentions you can use calico or small print paper so I hope my patterned paper has a small enough print!! Image has been coloured with Copic Markers and I've used a circle die cut to shape the image as I have used the current sketch at Mojo Monday to layout my card. The flower & little barnches are also die cuts.

Steampunk at So Artful
May 19th 2012
Our new theme for this next fortnight is "Steampunk and/or Earthy Tones" - make sure you head over to the So Artful Challenge Blog to see the other DT Creations - which are amazing and also to add your link so we can see what you come up with!!!
I made this wall hanging using designs from Chris at CS Designs - firstly the image is "Steampunk Solitaire" and the Spirelli Cut Out is from her fantastic Spirelli Kit. I went a bit "alternate" & used rubber bands to make the spirelli pattern instead of thread - I love the effect - something different! The background is a "Clocks" embossing folder which I love to use with my Steampunked creations! I made the Camouflage quote & added screw look brads and some fibre to make a hanger.
I am also entering this creation at the "Raise the Bar" Challenge Blog as they have a "Military / Patriotic" Theme and my "camouflage army looking" design is perfect for this!!! Also Pixie Dust Studio have a Steampunk Themed Challenge this week too so I am entering there as well!!

I had to make an Engagement Card for a friend and I decided to use the same image and papers as the last Engagement Card I made - click here to view. This one is a little bit more simple - not as many elements as the previous one but still romantic!

A great new "inspirational" challenge for you at Dude Time Doodles this week - head over to the challenge blog to see the inspirational photo and DT creations!
I've made this "Napkin Fold" Card using instructions from Splitcoast Stampers (I did change the size). This card was actually a lot easier to make and fold than I first thought and I have another one in different colours ready to copmplete as well.
Don't you just love "Fanny Bunny" - my retired Playboy Bunny???? I just couldn't resist having some fun with this birthday theme challenge - what a perfect card for a man!! You can find this great image along with all the other great "male" themed images at Dude Time Doodles!
Patterned papers are from a new "KaiserCraft" paper pad I recently purchased - I thought the patterns and colours were well suited to more masculine creations.
We can't wait to see what you make for this challenge!
I am also entering this card in the Crafty Creations Challenge - theme: Male Birthday Card - LOL this is perfect!!!

All Tied Up
May 15th 2012
A reminder that you still have a week to join our "Fit to be Tied" Challenge at Art With No Boundaries. Remember to read our updated rules before you link up!! Remember for this challenge we want to see some form of "tieing" on your creation using string, thread etc but NO ribbon or lace.
For this card I have used on of the images from the CS Designs "Haunting Apparitions" Series - "Dementia". I've used another great Spirelli shape from the CS Designs Spirelli Kit and this time I decided to go with a simpler "wrapping" on the shape to show that simple can look really effective too and the image was only given a bit of red colour with my Copic Markers. I love this image - very striking and eye catching!
ATTENTION: Chris is having a Design Team Call and is on the look out for some "creative & artistic" people!! You can check out the details here: CS Designs DT Call.
