Fly Fishing Tag.....

October 17th 2014
Sharing a "revamped" tag today! I made this tag last year but decided to pull it out and give it a makeover with this great Fly Fishing Brentwood Owl from JessicaLynnOriginal!

I've coloured the stamped fisherman with Copic Markers and then added him to the tag along with some mesh and muslin fabric and I also cut out some fish images from some patterned paper and added to the tag as well!

Make sure you check out the JessicaLynnOriginals Store for all the great new stamps and remember they do custom stamps as well!!! I'm working on some more JessicaLynnOriginal images so will share soon!

Gifts For You.....

October 12th 2014

Two little gift boxes made with my Silhouette. I printed the card with new digital papers from Gecko Galz "Mayflower Paper Pack" and used cute little images from the October "Vintage Thanks" Collage Sheets - as always great new products!

Dia De Los Muertos by Maigan Lynn

October 9th 2014

I'm a big fan of Maigan Lynn and when I saw this image available as a digi at the Sweet Pea Store I HAD to have it! So as you can see I used the image on a journal page. Added lots of paint to the background along with some strips of paper I had left over from other creations (a great way to use those bits you can't bear to throw away!!!)

I coloured Maigan's image with Copic Markers, cut a great skull design from Silhouette to use in the background, added some mesh and finished my page! I love this page - really need to print this image off again and make something else - it's a fabulous design.

I'm entering this in the current challenge at the One Sweet Challenge Blog for their Halloween themed October Challenge and also the A Step in the Dark Challenge Blog has an Anything Goes Challenge. And I'm also entering this in The Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge Blog for their Halloween themed challenge!

Brentwood Owl - You're a Star!

October 8th 2014

More creative fun with another JessicaLynnOriginal - Brentwood Owl - a good movie & theatre popcorn stamp - I love it!!! Lots of layer and texture on this card!

Brentwood is off to the movies with his bucket of popcorn! He even took the time to pose for photos - see the film strip - I used the "Freebie" Brentwood digi available at the store! Background stars, film strip and wording are all cut on my Silhouette - I was very clever and made the wording myself - remember I'm a newbie Silhouetter!!!!

Make sure you pop over to the store and see what a great range of stamps there are! JessicaLynnOriginal also has a FB Page so you can see what the DT are creating and what's new!

I'm also entering this in the current "Animals" challenge at the Try it on Tuesday Challenge!

In the Round......

October 7th 2014

A fun "round" card or creation challenge at The Sailing Pineapple Blog for this fortnight - look forward to seeing something other than square or rectangle LOL! And as always there are great new images & stamps in the Store so why not check them out!

Gone Fishing.......

October 5th 2014
Sharing another JessicaLynnOriginal creation - can you tell I am having so much fun creating with these great stamps??

This card features "Brentwood Owl Fly Fisherman" - a perfect image for a guy!!! And do you know - I have made this card for a special person - my daughter's boyfriend loves to go out in his boat fishing (he does a great job of cooking his catch too!!) so I've made this especially for his birthday which is coming up in the next week!

The paper pad I used for this was perfect too - Kaisercraft "Hunt & Gather" - I fussy cut the fish from one of the sheets of paper too, added an anchor charm, die cut the "gone fishing" shape from my Silhouette, added some mesh to look like net and added some string to the spine. I love this so much I'm going to make another one similar!!!!

This card is also being entered in the current Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge "No Balls Allowed" - LOL fishing is certainly a "no balls" sport!!!! We all know it can be hard to make cards for guys but this is perfect!!

Unruly Paperarts - Readers Art Quest......

October 4th 2014

A great new palette of colours and inspiration picture at this months Readers Art Quest - pop over and see the great Columnists inspiration and then create something and add to our link up!

I've used a great collage image from Gecko Galz as the main feature on my little journal page. Background is messy acrylic paint with some muslin & mesh texture and just couldn't resist adding the scrabble tiles "WHO"?????
