Love Yourself......
September 28th 2015
Well yet again I have another "nude" image to promote for SLS Lines!!! Now you can find the "nude" images in the Colouring Book/Adult part of the SLS Lines Etsy Store - a few are available as individual designs but this one I am using today - this beautiful curvaceous woman - is only available as part of a colouring book. You never know maybe if you "petition" SLS Lines she might come up as an individual image to purchase!!!!
Now you may know because I have used and mentioned before that the SLS Lines store also sells patterned digital papers - which I love - and the background of this journal page is from the pack of "Wood Digital Paper with Rustic Texture" - a beautiful range to use as background papers or layers or for an old aged wood look to your creations!
I scraped some Gesso over the paper background and added some soft pink & green Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays plus some washi tape and sprayed muslin for added texture to mount the image, Tim Holtz ticket, butterfly and scrabble letters on.
I'm really happy with this page. Make sure you check out the SLS Lines Blog for regular DT inspiration plus all the details for our current challenge and of course the Etsy Store for all the amazing designs!

For my DT creation I've made a page in my journal with the gorgeous "Willow" image available at Nikki's Etsy Store! Background is Gesso with ink sprays. I added some cut outs with Silhouette Files, plus some hessian type fabric, some little red gems for the trees, glitter glue, "joy" sign and I used a needle and cotton to make the lacing on her dress bodice. A gorgeous image which I can't wait to use again!

"Esme" Ready for Halloween!
September 20th 2015
A "pretty" Halloween themed card made using gorgeous papers from the Tsunami Rose Etsy Store "Witches Brew" - just love this paper pack! And of course I couldn't reist teaming the papers with a fantastic image from Nikki Burnette's Spellbinding Stamps available in her store and this gal is "Esme"!!
I love the orange tones on these papers - perfect for matching with the colourings I used on the digi stamp. I distressed all the edges of the paper and added some black lace. All patterned papers are from the Witches Brew Journal Kit and also I fussy cut the butterflies from one of the paper pages too.
I always love layers and textures on handmade cards! Hope you like this and make sure you check out both Etsy stores to grab some great "supplies"!!!

I used my Silhouette to cut the tree and little bats and have them hanging over the edge. Background is tissue paper and ink sprays by Lindys Stamp Gang - love the shine!! Finished off with some washi tape, string at the top and a little owl charm in the tree. Such fun!!!

JessicalLynnOriginal SALE "$1.00 DIGIS ALL WEEKEND"
September 12th 2015
A fun blog hop to promote a special $1.00 digi sale at the JessicaLynnOriginal store this weekend - lots of digis to choose from so pop over and grab these specials while you can and check out the rubber stamps available too!!
I'm sharing 2 creations with a couple of the $1.00 digis. Above is one of my favourite digis - I just love this Egyptian style cat! I've coloured the image with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added it to a digital layered image I printed out on glossy photo paper. All the images from the collage are from the Remember Me Now Etsy Store - they were just perfect elements for my Egyptian Card - I've always been a bit of a fan of Egyptian style!
My next creation is a large journal page using this sooo cute baby giraffe digi!! I had the perfect serviettes to layer on the page background and the 2 giraffes from the serviette were just right - the other bits of napkins were animal print and I put a wash of Gesso over the most of the page just leaving the 2 giraffes exposed, added a bit of ink spray plus some sticky mesh and muslin cloth and the little scrabble letters in the top corner. I coloured the giraffe with oil pastels - I've been playing around with a few different colouring mediums to have some fun and get some new skills LOL!!
Here's the Blog Hop order so you can visit everyone and see what they have created with the $1.00 digis!!!
