Witchy Women......

Two "witchy" journal pages using the fabulous "Journal Faces" by Vera Lane Studio with added "witch's hats" from the "October" Set of Vera Lane digis. Background papers are digital format available from Serena Bee's Etsy Store - I love both colour themes but particularly the pastel colours!!! I cut the papers in strips and did the herringbone pattern background - love the effect.


Digi gals are coloured with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added to the background with some cobwebs for above page and muslin cloth on the page below. Great fun for Halloween!!!

A Mixed Up Halloween!

A couple of fun ATC's made for this months swap at the Vera Lane Studio Facebook Group - the theme was to create "mixed up" Halloween characters - FUN!!!!


I've used "bodies" from the Kokeshi Doll Set of digis with "heads" from the new release Skullies Set - LOVE how these turned out!! The top ATC has fun digi papers by Serena Bee and the bottom was a pre printed ATC base card.

A fun Halloween Pussy Cat complete with witch's hat on this little ATC made for a swap at Vera Lane Studio!!! You can find these digis at the Vera Lane Studio  Etsy Store - fab designs for Halloween - so quirky!!!

 
I'm entering this creepy cat in the current challenge at the "Show us Your Pussies" challenge blog - LOL hadn't heard of this blog just for cat creations until Sue commented on my post at Facebook so I'm taking her advice and entering this creation!!!

The Bat Cave??

Another creation using one of Rick St Dennis' 31 Days of Halloween digis!!! This was on the Airless Chambers Blog for Day 23 of the 31 Days of Halloween!! This digi is "Witchy Cottage" and you can find it along with all of the brand new digis for this month at Rick's Zibbet Store!

 
I coloured the cottage with pastel pencils and fussy cut - took awhile LOL!!! I added it to a textured journal page background and added the cute little bats and collage elements from a great halloween sheet by Art Tea Life (make sure you check out all the fab sheets available - my fav collage store)!!! I love how this page turned out!!

Hug a Carrot....

I created this altered index card to play along with the current challenge at the Sasayaki Glitter Blog with their theme of "Colour Orange" LOL most creations are Halloween themed but of course I have to be "different" and have used "Bunny and Carrot" digi available at the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Store.


I've used digital papers by Happy Hearts Studio @ Etsy - the set is called "Carrot Stix" - just perfect for this carrot orange creation for the challenge!!!

An altered 5 x 7 index card made using a great collage image by Gecko Galz for one of their monthly Facebook Group challenges!

 

Collage "gal" is one of the great images from the sheets titled: "Tattoo Girls" - I love all the girls on these sheets - great to create with! I added this girl to a ink sprayed tissue paper background along with a gold paper doiley and some matching coloured braid. Wording is computer generated.

Wanda Willow!

I'm up at the Airless Chambers Blog for Day 17 of the 31 Days of Halloween using Ricks' digis drawn especially for this year!!! You can find Wanda Willow HERE along with all the special digis drawn for this month - they will appear each day as they are released!


I coloured Wanda with Copics and fussy cut - added some highlights with a white gel pen. I added her to a mixed media background with different bits if texture and coloured sprays! Plus I added the collage tags by Art Tea Life which you can find HERE!!

Zombies Love a Girl with Brains!!!

A fun "Zombie" themed altered index card made just for the current "Z is for Zombies" Challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog!!!!


I used the little Zombie Gal from the Quirky Zombie Couple Set of digis available from Vera Lane Studio - she is just perfect for this challenge!!! I Gelli Printed the index card and then added a piece of paint chip sample, sticky mesh, gauze cloth and of course the Zombie Gal coloured with my Prisma pencils and fussy cut and added to the front!! Wording is computer generated - a perfect saying for this theme!!!

Mr Shadows Lights Up My Life!!!!

A new challenge at Rick's Sparkle and Glitter Blog with a Spooky Halloween theme for this next month - just perfect for October!!!


I've used "Mr Shadows" available in Rick's Zibbet Store along with his huge range of Halloween and Spooky themed digis plus each day of this month he has a new release digi for the 31 Days of Halloween!

 
Background papers are available at Etsy and are by Serena Bee and were just perfect for Mr Shadows and his "pets" LOL!!

Dancing "Skull Lake"...

A set of new release "Skullies" from Vera Lane Studio today!! I've added the skull "heads" to the bodies from the "Just Dance" set - LOL made some ballerinas!!


I coloured the digis with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added to a painted and added gauze background with some washi tape, die cuts, gems and the computer generated "sign". I love to mix and match the digis at Vera Lane - great to make new characters!!!

The Last of Peter.....

Rick St Dennis has created 31 new digis for the 31 Days of Halloween - you can find them here in his store - a new one released each day of October - check out the Airless Chambers Blog for all the digis each day coloured and created with by Rick's DT!! I'm sharing "The Last of Peter" on a tag and a journal page!!


Background "labels" for this tag were done especially for me by Sandy at Art Tea Life - check out her fab digital collage store at Etsy!!! I printed "Peter" on kraft coloured paper and fussy cut and added to the background - you can see I just coloured his pumpkin head LOL!!! I added a bit of gauze cloth and some string to the top of the tag to finish it off.


Next a spooky journal page using Peter again on kraft paper but this time a little bit of pencil colouring and some ink sprays! Page background is gesso, dribbles of ink, labels from Gecko Galz, washi tape and of course some spiderweb!!!!

Morty's Halloween...

Sharing "Morty's Halloween" - new release from Vera Lane Studio!! I've gone with a "pink" theme to play along with the current "P is for Pink Halloween" challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog LOL!! Background digital papers are available from Serena Bee's Etsy Store - she has some great digital elements to create with!


I've printed out the papers and made a torn stripped background - always love this effect. Added some washi tape, gauze, spider sequins and the sentiment is from another Vera Lane set and was perfect for Morty and his mates!!!! Morty digi coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut. I would vote for a PINK Halloween any time!!!!

The Witches of Eastwick....

To start off this month of Halloween I'm over at the Sin City Stamps Blog with a fun mixed media journal page inspired  by the movie "The Witches of Eastwick"!!


I used stamps from the "Just Us Girls" set available at the Sin City Store along with collage hats and elements by Lisa's Altered Art and the lettering by itKuPiLLi.
