Happy Mother's Day!

May 3rd 2011
This week's challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge Blog is of course "Mother's Day"! If you pop over to the blog you can get some inspiration from the other DT members for making a wonderful Mother's Day card for your mum! Make sure you add your entry to the link for a chance to be the winner for the week.

For this card I have actually used Michelle's "Goldilocks" image and printed a freebie vase of flowers and mounted it over the little teddy that Goldilocks is holding. I like to be able to use images for a wide variety of 'occasions' so I thought I would have a go with making this one into a Mother's Day image.

The images have been coloured with copics and I have used textured card, patterned paper and spellbinder die cuts to cut out the shapes. I'm a bit of a pink & purple fan! By the time this post is published I will have sent this card to my mum so I hope she doesn't check my blog!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog have a "Mum's the Word" theme this week as do the I Did It Creations Challenge Blog. The Creative Cowgirls Challenge Blog have a "Happy Mother's Day" theme as well.
