January 31st 2013
Well one of the things I wanted to do this year was some journalling as I purchased Kate Crane's DVD's quite some time ago and really wanted to have a play so I deceded that my journal would be filled with whatever I felt like doing so I don't have a separate journal for the calendar I am just mixing it all in with any other pages I create! Her eis the link to The Kathryn Wheel 2013 Calendar Challenge which I am linking up to! I really loved doing this with paint and collage images plus some stamping! I can't wait to work on the month of February!
The little squares for the days of the month are punched from Gecko Galz Patterned Papers and the little winged collage girl is from Ceremony. I used various rubber stamps with the swirl and letters and numbers. I loved getting messy with the paint and ink!
such beauty Sharon! the collaged female image is totally arresting and the entire calender piece is just beautiful. love the saturated colors too. xo
