Sharing a fun journal page using "Matilda" from the set by Vera Lane Studio: "Matilda's New Year" - a great quirky character set!!!
I'm entering this in the current "T is for Technique" Challenge at the fab "Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers" Blog!! I've used my favourite technique for creating a journal page background which is to use torn strips of old book pages plus recycle my stash of "saved" tissue paper!! I've alternated strips of pages with strips of patterned tissue paper. I added a thin layer of Gesso to tone down the background, added paint through a stencil and used an old credit card and small lid as mark makers on the background. Once everything was dry I added the journaling cards and fussy cut "Matilda"!! A fun page!
Make sure you check out all the new releases at the Vera Lane Etsy Store - so many quirky designs and so many more new images to come this year!!!!!!
A really stunning creation, thanks for sharing at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers
