Time for a new challenge for this month at the Blank Page Muse Blog and as you can see from the title of my post it's time to "emboss" - dry or heat - whatever you like! Click here to see the challenge rules and link to the challenge!! And if you need some new stamps to play with this challenge (who doesn't need new stamps??) then Click here to be taken to the store LOL!!!! And remember to "hop" around all the DT Blogs for lots of fabulous inspiration!
Now here is a quick step by step as to how I made this little embossed ATC:
Firstly I sprayed some greaseproof paper with ink sprays - you can use tissue paper or just normal paper! Allow to dry.
Grab your fav stencil and add some embossing fluid or dab embossing pad over it.
Turn the stencil over and press the embossing ink onto the sprayed paper and then add embossing powder and heat.
I've used Seth Apter's "Deep Sea" Baked Texture - available at the Blank Page Muse store!
Grab an ATC sized piece of card and cover with the decorated paper - I like to cover it like a book - fold the side over and have it really neat!
Add some embossing fluid to the sides of the ATC, add some gold powder and heat - gives a nice border.
I've used a Small Steampunk Bird for this ATC. Stamp with embossing ink and emboss with the gold powder to match the ATC border and fussy cut.
Assemble some bits and pieces and arrange them on your ATC and then glue them all down. I've added some hessian scraps, a charm, scrap muslin cloth and some matching wording.
And then you have a finished creation!
What a Lovely project! thanks for sharing!
