Gecko Galz: A Spot of Tea + Freebie Xmas in July Collage Sheet

 Before I share my creations I have a "freebie" collage sheet to share with you as part of the Gecko Galz "Xmas in July" month - if you visit all the DT you can grab a sheet from each one of us!

I've created a couple of altered playing cards using these images which are the perfect size for smaller creations!

I am also sharing my altered double tag made using an image from the "A Spot of Tea" collage set - just love the "tea themed" images! Patchwork background uses the little square images from the Nouveau Garden Jewel It collage set along with a heat embossed stencil embellishment.

Gecko Galz: Natures Spring Goddess

An altered tag using one of the images from the "Natures Spring Goddess" collage set and tiles from the Nouveau Garden Jewel It set available in the Gecko Galz Etsy Store.

I wanted to create an old/weathered background so I used the jewel it images like tiles and then added crackle paste and verdigris embossing powder to give an aged and rough look. "Earth Angel" wording is also available from Gecko Galz - "Charming Words" Collage Set - has a good range of words for using on your projects!.

Sharing my "Bunny" creations for Gecko Galz!

Firstly a set of tags using images from the "Spring Bunnies" collage sheets available in the Etsy Store!

Background stencils are from my local scrapbook store: Natalie May Scrapbooking. I've also used Lindy's Magicals on each tag background.

I also created a mixed media journal page with an image from the "Jelly Beans Digital Stamp Set".

I love to mix ad match images from different sheets to create fun & quirky creations!

Today I am sharing some vintage tags using stamps and stencils available in the store along with vintage collage elements and bits and pieces.

I made the tags backgrounds with stencils, texture paste and Lindy's Magicals.

Stencils used: 

Eye Stencil & Blocks Pattern both designed by Dead Sea Toons

Stamps used:

"Dots" on tag background from the Half Sheet Numbers & Flowers

Window Frame stamped onto white card and fussy cut

I then added Tim Holtz vintage "heads', some vintage ephemera, hessian, lace, acetate embellishments - they are a bit of a mix of vintage and modern which I love!

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - T is for Tags!

I haven't created anything for awhile so I thought I would pop over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog and see what their current theme was as I love entering their challenges and love their themes!

I created this mixed media "Love" themed tag using some corrugated tag as the tag base along with paint, muslin cloth, other bits and pieces - great to use up some odds and ends in my stash!!

Blank Page Muse Stamps: Nevermore said Poe!

Sharing a Blank Page Muse creation today - bright tags for Halloween using fab stamps available at the BPM Store! 

Stamps used are available at the store:

Nevermore, Poe and Dribonez Set (Poe and Dribonez designed by Rick St Dennis)

I stamped skulls and bones from the Dribonez set onto tags with embossing ink and embossed with white powder. I then used sponges to colour the backgrounds.

I stamped the Nevermore word and Poe image onto white card and fussy cut.

I arranged the focal images onto the tags and adhered and for fun I added collage witch's hats to Poe!!!

I'm linking my "Faux Leather" technique to the current challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog: "T is for Technique"!

I used masking tape to make the background and added a fab collage image from Art Tea Life available at Etsy - my fav collage store!!!!! I love how this tag looks!
