Just Giggle!

May 5th 2016

Just for a bit of fun and to enter the current Monochrome Challenge at the Cardz 4 Guyz Blog!!

I've used a multitude of  bits & pieces from a little box of cut out collage images! Main image is "#45 Mr Mann" digi by Sandra Caldwell printed on kraft paper and fussy cut. And he has been "embellished" with a flowery hat and steampunk wings by Dezinaworld plus a little birdie and star want by Lisa's Altered Art along with a Beach sign from Art Tea Life and the fish was a freebie from Freubels Freebies LOL so much to see! Background index card was covered with torn book pages, texture paste, stencil & ink sprays. To finish off some washi tape in bottom corner, corner charm at the top, ink sprayed muslin and the giggle tag with added letters above - the aim of this card is to "Just Giggle"!!!!!!!

Diamonds are Forever...

May 4th 2016

Sharing 2 ATC's made for a swap I was in with theme of "Diamonds are Forever". I couldn't resist using this image by Sandra Caldwell "#349 Engaged" - perfect for this swap!!

Digi images coloured with copics, background ATC is black card with a purple glitter embossing powder over a diamond background stamp by Tim Holtz and a row of sequins added to the bottom of each ATC for even more glitter along with the "jewel" on her ring!!!

Below is the image coloured before I fussy cut her and added the gem to the ring and her to the backing ATC. she looks perfect in purple tones!

New release time at Sandra's Etsy Store and OMG wait til you see all the amazing new digis released this week - I'm going shopping!

I'm sharing #10 Dancing Penguin - I printed him twice, coloured with pastel pencils in different tones and added them to a serviette background journal page with some washi tape, dymo label wording and date created plus black watercolour paint to edge the page.

Captain Hook!

April 28th 2016

Another creation for this month using the great Whimsical Pirate image available from SLS Lines  - always love the quirky images Sal draws up!

Created this page in my black journal. I added scraps of pirate themed digital paper from Retrobox Collection's Etsy Store - love the vintage feel of these papers. Also added some texture paste with stencils made on my Silhouette and ink sprays plus a few other embellies to finish it all off!

La Catrina...

April 27th 2016

Sharing a Karleigh Sue DT creation using the "La Catrina" image available at the "new" website Cheri has set up: CLICK HERE. You can find all the digis for purchase plus the new Mary Jane series - they are great you must check them out!

I'm not good at doing CAS as I always want to add things but tried to keep this relatively minimalistic by not adding too much LOL. Image printed on kraft coloured paper and fussy cut - I just coloured it basically with colour pencils. Background was the same image copied and pasted and a border added and then printed on white card. Added a scrap of muslin and a charm with some string to finish off.

More inspiration from the DT can be found at the Karleigh Sue Blog plus colouring fun at the Facebook Group.

Harry & Friends.....

April 25th 2016

New release time again for Sandra Caldwell at her Etsy Store - always love Mondays and waiting to see what images she will surprise us with! My new image for this week is sure to please lots of people - "#48 Harry and Friends" - don't they just look like the trio????

Coloured with Copics and colour pencils and it's a miracle I didn't fussy cut this image but chalked the background and used on a card - yes a change from a journal page LOL!!

And found the great Harry Potter digital papers and graphics on Etsy at "The Graphic Monster Store".

Remember you can find more inspiration with the new releases at Sandra's Facebook Group where we are always playing games, having competitions and challenges!!
