I am a lover of books but these days I spend more time creating & crafting LOL!!!!
Background of my page is bits of old book pages and tissue paper along with gesso, ink sprays and paint along with a lettering stamp! Image was printed on card, coloured with Copics & fussy cut. I mounted the image on a preprinted ATC sized card I had and stuck that all to my page along with the printed book quote.
I have so many posts to share and I keep forgetting to add them to my blog!!!!! This is my Week 1 "Inspiration Wednesday" journal page - am just loving these wonderful inspiration lessons from Donna Downey - soooo glad I nabbed these "classes"! I'm sharing my pages out of order but I'm just working my way through the "draft" posts in my list!
I made the stencils of my "name", the glasses and 2015 numbers with my Silhouette and added the texture paste - just love the effect of this! A great way to learn new techniques and get out of the "comfort" zone LOL!!!!!
A new challenge at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Blog with a new sponsor "Enchanted Dezigns"! For this week's challenge you need to use at least 3 of the items from the "list" of goodies!!! I've used washi tape, pearls, flowers, wings & pink!!!! We can't wait to see what everyone uses on their ATC's this week for the challenge!
Have you been following the Unruly Paperarts Site? Lots of great ideas for creating books of all sorts! My article shares my "skewer/piano hinge" book using amazing stamps from our sponsor for the month "Rubber Dance Stamps" - you can see the instructions on how I made it and decorated it here!
A fabulous new set of stamps being showcased for JessicaLynnOriginal: "Sheltie's" - so gorgeous! And as you can see I've made a set of 4 cards using the stamps from the set along with some great dog themed digi patterned papers from Cocoamint Etsy Store - perfect! I love the black, red, white theme!
Jessica's sets always come with several images plus sentiments and little filler stamps - make sure you check out her range and if you have a favourite dog breed check out if she has a set available!!
This is my double page spread for Week 2 - a lovely collage inspired spread and how could I resist using pink as one of the colours! I made this a few weeks ago so I gave it a "Love" theme and used a gorgeous little digi image from Sandra Caldwell available at the Sweet Pea Stamps Store!
The February challenge at the One Sweet Challenge Blog is one of "Love" so I am entering my journal pages in their challenge!
