I've made some CAS style cards with some of the flower images available! I've used linen finish card and my Copics to colour the images.

Button Bonanza....

I'm very lucky this week to be a Guest Designer at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges Blog with their great "Button Bonanza" themed challenge - a perfect challenge for me!

I've used this cute gal "Tillie" on my button inspired card. Tillie has been coloured with Copic Markers and I've used lots of button patterned paper layers all sewn with my sewing machine. Of course I've added real buttons too which I sewed onto some little fabric rosettes or "yo-yos" as I call them. Just couldn't resist adding a scissor charm and my most favourite stuff - muslin!!

 

Button themed digital papers are from a set from the Old Owl Press Etsy Store - perfect for this theme!

Tropical Colours

The Sailing Pineapple!

The very first challenge is "Spring Birthday" and we want to see you use green, blue, pink & green on your creation - there is a fabulous freebie at the blog which I have used on both my creations for the challenge - a beautiful flower background image!

Vikki is the former owner of Queen Kat Designs (which has now closed) - she now has her own range of digis/svg files for sale in her Etsy Store - new designs being added all the time!!

For my card I printed the image on digital papers from Gecko Galz and did a bit of paper tole style cutting and mounting and my tag has had the flower background recoloured in green and printed directly onto my tag and I couldn't resist adding the little lizard also from The Sailing Pineapple!

Gecko Galz + Vintage by Me Cross Promotion

A new month and a new cross promotion at Gecko Galz - this month we are teaming with "Vintage by Me" to showcase how the 2 company's products work together! This is always a fun time - it's great to be creative with each lot of goodies!

For both my cards the main "bird" images are from Vintage by Me and the patterned papers in the background are new release products for May from Gecko Galz - a perfect match!

Freaky Flower Family...

A new month which means a new challenge at the Just Some Lines Blog and our theme for May is "Flowers". Well I couldn't resist having some fun with this creepy family image from Just Some Lines! Background card was a white linen finish card printed with a gorgeous new floral digital paper from Gecko Galz. I made the little sentiment banner and added the paper flower with lace. A card for lots of different occasions! We look forward to seeing your JSL creations for our challenge!
