Can you believe it's nearly the end of February??? Where is the year going?

I couldn't resist making another Black & White card with this gorgeous "Black Calla" image available at the QKD Store! Maigan's image are always so great to work with - she has a lot of details and I just love the trademark "loooong" eyelashes LOL!!

I am also going to add this creation to The Cheerful Stamp Pad "Black & White" Colour Challenge!

Here is my Week 3 Page(s) for the Journal 52 Prompts - "You Make Me Smile" is the prompt & I couldn't resist using these Freebies I got from Freubels Freebies several years ago - they are very quirky which I love! I added the little letters which are from a collage sheet by itKuPiLLi.

 

Background was made using the credit card technique with bright coloured acrylic paints - I love the stripey effect! Fun & make you smile pages!

Black Calla Lady...

Today I am sharing a card with a new image by "Maigan Lynn" available at the Queen Kat Designs Store - I just love this image - has an elegant feel!

Image was printed on white shimmer card and I added some coloured highlights with soft coloured Copic Markers. I used some shimmer lace patterned paper for the background, a silk ribbon & diamanti buckle for some glitz and some sparkly diamonds - very classy!

I am also entering this card at The Cheerful Stamp Pad in Vicki's "Black & White" themed challenge!

Anti-Valentine's Day

A fun & different theme for this week's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge - "Anti-Valentine's Day" - LOL!!! And we have the perfect sponsor for this challenge - Smeared Ink!

 



 

I've used a fun image "Monster Hearts - Virginia" from Smeared Ink for my Anti-Valentine's ATC. We should get some really great entries for this theme - always love something a bit different & non traditional!!!

Bowled Over ...

A card made especially for a friend of ours who turned 40 recently. He does play Lawn Bowls - of course he's not as old as this old chap on the card - and he is also a Greenkeeper like myself and my husband.

I coloured the image to match the uniform colours of the Bowling Club he plays for - he was most impressed!!! Image is from Just Inklined.

My card today is showcasing new February Release products from Gecko Galz - collage image and patterned papers. I used my sewing machine to edge the papers, added some lace, paper flowers, pearls and a cute little bird cage charm. A very "spring" themed card!
