Angels Sing at Xmas.....

December 6th 2014

I'm joining in for the first time at the Lost Coast Designs Challenge - theme of "Merry Christmas" - perfect for this time of the year - just loving all the xmas things on everyone's blogs!

I've used an image called "Stella" - LOL you would not believe how many years I have had this stamp!!!! And this is the first time in years that I have used it - but it's just perfect for my journal page! And I've used red & blue colour combo for something a bit different for xmas - half traditional and half non traditional LOL!

Background has been striped with acrylic paints and the "credit card" technique - I left the lighter blue strip in the middle just for the wording. I added some white highlights to the page. Image printed with red ink & fussy cut. And a few silver sparkles added to each of the "angels".

And I'm also linking this up to the Unruly Paperarts 12 Days of Xmas Link up Party!

Stella is very cool. I love her hair. It would be fun to make her out of game pieces. Thanks for the great idea and for sharing your great page!

I really love Lost Coast stamps! I have not been crafting that long so I only discovered them recently, but I love how you used them on this journal page. They really seem to be dancing for joy against that wonderful painty background. I'm loving the UPA link up and all the inspiring art people are sharing! xxx
