Happy 11th Anniversary to JessicaLynnOriginal Stamp Company!!!!!

April 2nd 2016

Today is my turn as a DT Member to post here on my blog to help celebrate the 11th Anniversary of Jessica's Business "JessicaLynnOriginal"!!! I've been on Jessica's team since September 2014 - it's great to create for such a talented artist and she is so generous to send stamps here to me "Down Under" in Australia to create with!! We have a week long celebration with DT inspiration posts, some prizes to be won, happenings at the JLO Blog, Facebook Group and other DT Blogs PLUS there is a limited release digi created just to celebrate that you can get from the store FREE!!

Brentwood is Jessica's "Signature" character!!!

I've made a couple of Altered Index Cards to share with this post and a little bit of instruction on how I made them! I'm a big fan of Jessica's "Jasmine Becket-Griffith Stamps" - she is licensed by Jasmine to create rubber stamps from her paintings - you can view the range available to date in the store!

Jasmine Becket-Griffith: Red Maple Fairy & Sienna Dragonling Stamps

Here are my finished index cards and below is a quick run through of what I did!

I started with two 6 x 4 inch ruled index cards - I don't worry about the lines on them I always think it just adds more layers and character if they show through!

I randomly glued torn pieces of autumn coloured patterned serviette to each of the cards and ink sprayed in the "gaps" to add more colour and cover the white card showing through.

I added lots of fibres, hessian, leaves and letters for more texture and layers and a rustic autumn feel.

I stamped the two Jasmine Becket-Griffith Stamps onto kraft coloured paper and did some basic colouring with colour pencils - I didn't want the effect of full on colouring in of the images. I fussy cut the images - because that's what I always do LOL!!!

Everything was glued to the cards and I rubbed distress ink all around the edge of the cards just to finish off!!! Quick and easy but still looks effective!!

I'll be back again on Friday with another post to continue the 11th Anniversary Celebration!
