Home is Where You Park It!!!

November 19th 2018

A fun theme at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog - "H is for Home" - and as you can see by the title of this post "Home is where you Park it!"

I've used a fun image from Vera Lane Studio - one of the mobile homes from the "Caravan Wheels" set of digis. I used scraps of a map and patterned papers to make the background and added the copic coloured motorhome, washi tape and the wording to the page.

Dare to Fly Butterflies.....

November 12th 2018
The Take A Word Blog's theme for this week is "Insects"!!! Lots of fab inspiration at the blog - any medium is acceptable so just link up! I love visiting all the blogs and seeing how people interpret the theme!!!

I've added some cute digital stamp Kawaii Faces by Rick St Dennis to some collage Butterflies by Art Tea Life to decorate these Artist Trading Coins. Background stamp and "dare to fly" stamp are by Blank Page Muse and were perfect for these coins!

Digital stamp faces coloured with copic markers. Background coins are gelli prints on old book pages and then stamped and embossed with black embossing powder.

Filles de la Mode.....

November 11th 2018
Have you seen the fabulous range of digis in the Vera Lane Store - "Filles de la Mode" - a range of quirky gals - some partially coloured and others ready for you to colour!!!! I love them and they are great for ATC's and tag art as you can see here! These are some of my DT makes with these fab digis!

Above is "Charlie" and "Margaux" and below is "Adorabelle" - I've used the partially coloured images and completed their colouring with copics - fussy cut and added to some predecorated tags!

I love how these mixed media tags turned out! I've used a range of different background techniques to match these gals! Make sure you check them out in store and grab some sets for yourself!

I'm entering these mixed media tags at the current challenge at the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Blog!

Also entering at the A Inky Mess mixed media blog challenge and the Classic Design Team Challenge Blog!!

Hellgnomes Death Digis: "Hanged"

November 9th 2018

A new digi for this month from Hellgnomes Death Digis available at Inked Artist Avenue @Etsy - "Hanged".

I've created a "pink" looking mixed media journal page using acrylic paint, printed tissue paper, stencil and gesso and some other embellishments! I added "wiggle" eyes to the "Hanged" digi LOL! I added the rubber stamped wording for some fun.

F is for Fantasy - "Monsters"...

November 6th 2018

"F is for Fantasy" at this fortnight's challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and what better than fantastical monsters LOL!!!

These little cutie monsters are by Rick St Dennis and are available in his Zibbet Store - cute little "Kawaii" digis! I've added them to altered index cards, they are coloured with copic markers and fussy cut and I added the stamped phrases.

I added little wiggle eyes for fun too to give them added character LOL!!
