Some Odd Girl PINK Card

May 31st 2015
Having some fun with my Some Odd Girl digis which I haven't played with for awhile so with this card I've joined the "Pink" challenge at the FB Group - why not join in if you have stamps from Some Odd Girl - they have been having a challenge each day for the past week - LOL I'm trying to keep up!!!

Mixed media background for this card including spray inks, texture paste, muslin, flowers etc. Lots of pink!!! And I love the image - they have some great "portrait" images which I seem to favour the most.

APC Week 19

These are my Week 19 Altered Playing Cards - LOL I am still trying to catch up even though the challenge has actually finished! I love the Steampunk theme and embossing. Collage images are from Gecko Galz.

Sweet Rosey Music.........

May 28th 2015

Just love this page I made some time ago with this gorgeous digi by Maigan Lynn available from the Sweet Pea Stamps Store!

Background is texture past and spray inks - love the soft colours. The strip of music and butterflies are from one of Tim Holtz's tissue paper rolls and was perfect to add to this page.

Image coloured with Copic Markers and mounted on the page for some depth. I just love this page!

Add Some Ribbon....

May 27th 2015

Love our sponsor this week at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Blog - Nikki Burnette - what great images to colour & create with!!

I cut a "clear" ATC background card from thick acetate and added the Silhouette "bustier" with ribbon added and then the gorgeous image from Nikki Burnette! Make sure you check out the Wicked Wednesday Blog for more DT inspiration and to add your entry for this week!

Puppy Love.....

May 26th 2015

I made these cards for a Splitcoast Stampers "JessicaLynnOriginal" Swap at the beginning of the year. Love this gorgeous Pit Bull Stamp from the Pit Bull Set available at the JLO Store!! The base cards were cut on my Silhouette - just love the heart design and of course couldn't resist going with a pink/black/white theme!

I found the "paw print" digi paper at Etsy - a perfect background!

Photo Bomb ATC Swap!

May 25th 32015
Sharing a pic of the ATC's I made for the April Stampotique ATC Trade! Had so much fun with these ATC and there was such a great variety from all the participants.

I started with an acetate base for my ATC and used my Silhouette to cut a camera design and I added a Stampotique character the letters "Say Cheese" and the "fingers" were part of an Oddball Stamps Digi - LOL just couldn't resist!!!

If you are a fan of Stampotique stamps and you are not already a member of the Stampotique FB Group you should consider joining and having some fun!

Put your feet up and grab a cool drink to sip as you travel along the hop, getting inspired by the different takes from each of our designers.

I've made 2 creations for the hop - just love this first nice bright card for Brentwood's Beach Party - Background design from the Cupcake Cuties Etsy Store - a perfect image for my Silhouette Cut Surfboards and "party" sign! Brentwood coloured with Copic Markers. Makes me feel warm and summery as it's coming into winter here in Australia!

My second creation is a page in one of my journal's and I just had to add another JLO stamp - "Ruby" in her polka dot bikini joining the beach fun LOL!!! I used some gritty texture paste on the background of this page so it looked like real sand and water froth. Added some die cuts from Kaisercraft which are perfect for the tropical holiday beach theme!

This Way Up.......

May 22nd 2015
New release time at SLS Lines - new images available at The Store and you can see the DT inspiration at the SLS Lines Challenge Blog!

Now I just love this "nerdy" looking guy LOL - he was great to colour and create with. I added Diamond Glaze to his glass for some dimension and to make them look like real glasses! Tag background is old book pages and card scrap plus ink sprays and some fun little stamps I had that were perfect for my "This Way Up" theme!

Remember we always have a monthly challenge happening at the blog so pop over and get something created - our current challenge has a "Fantasy Twist" so let's see what you can create!

Priceless Beauties......

May 21st 2015
I'm sharing a new creation made for two of my DT's today - a mini journal/booklet using papers/accessories from Tsunami Rose and Digi Nude Pin Up Girls from SLS Lines Colouring Booklet - thought the "nudes" were a perfect match for the amazing papers from Tsunami Rose!

Extras added were laces, braids, brads, flowers, Silhouette die cuts, muslin/cheesecloth fabric, charms etc. - just love how it all turned out. These nudes are so tasteful I can't help wanting to create with them all the time! The front & back cover and pages were cut on my Silhouette and once I had decorated both sides of each page I put hinge rings from Officeworks through the cut holes to secure it into a mini book. I distressed most of the edges of all the papers and used a red inkpad to add some colour - incidentally after all this inking my stamp pad is now "done" LOL!

Here are the links to all items used so you can check them out along with all of the other amazing products in both stores!

Close up pictures of the nude pin up gals:

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my little booklet - the many hours spent were worth it - I still have some of the Tsunami Rose papers left as there are so many elements in the printable kit that I couldn't use them all so a great excuse to create some more and I actually printed double of the Pin Up Gals too so looks like more "risqué" creations coming up soon!

Harlequin or Diamonds

May 20th 2015

We have Sweet Pea Stamps as our sponsor for this "Harlequin or Diamonds" Themed Challenge this week at Wicked Wednesday! The image I chose is one by Ching Chou Kuik called "Misty Allure" - she is lovely and I thought she was perfect for the harlequin/Diamonds theme. Background is a Tim Holtz Stamp embossed with a gorgeous "Wow" purple glitter embossing powder I bought recently - so sparkly! Image coloured with Copics and added some feather charms to her wing and some glitter glue to her mask and hair. I'm a great fan of the artists and images available at Sweet Pea Stamps so loved creating for this challenge!

Metallica.....

May 19th 2015

The new challenge at the Tag Along Blog for this week is "Metallic"!! So I got the alfoil out of the pantry and ran it through my Big Kick with a great clock/gears Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and wrapped my manila tag with the foil for a great silver background. I had a gears/cogs die cut from my silhouette left over from another creations so I embossed that with a gorgeous purple glitter powder.

I took 2 pics to show the shiny/metallic look. Just love this gorgeous Sandra Caldwell digi from Sweet Pea Stamps - this is also the freebie image for the FB Group Progressive Challenge!

SLS Lines "Fantasy" Challenge!

May 15th 2015

What a great challenge we have this month at the SLS Lines Challenge Blog - "Fantasy" - love this theme! And this "Celestial Goddess" image is just so perfect for this theme!! I could not resist colouring her hair all different shades! Background card is a bit of mixed media - sprays and texture paste along with some sheer fibre, sequins and little bead letters "Dream"!

We look forward to seeing your entries in this new challenge - remember you don't have to use a SLS Lines image but it would be great if you did there are sooooo many quirky designs to choose at the Etsy Store!!!!

Sweet Lemon Meringue.........

May 14th 2015

Some inspiration for this months Readers Art Quest at the Unruly Paperarts Site! This month our RAQ prompt is "Food Glorious Food" and the colour palette as I have used of black/grey/lemon - perfect for this JessicaLynnOriginal image which you can grab at the store!!!

Digital "lemon& lime" themed papers are from the Digital Stories Etsy Store. I cut the "Sweet" word on my Silhouette. Brentwood Owl & his cupcake were coloured with Copic Markers. We would love to see you "food" inspired creations linked up!!!!

Lilacs or Daffodils?

May 13th 2015

This week at Wicked Wednesday we have a floral themed challenge - we want to see you use Daffodils or Lilacs on you ATC's. Power Poppy is a new sponsor to Wicked Wednesday and have given the DT some gorgeous images to create with! We look forward to your ATC's this week!

A Gothic Wedding with "Tsunami Rose".....

May 12th 2015
Such a fabulous card to create - I just loved making this one!

I have a gorgeous set of "Black Monochrome" digital journal papers from Tsunami Rose to share with you this month and this is my first creation with the set! you really need to check the set out as it comes with everything you need including pages, little tags, envelopes - just about everything! The only thing I added to this card was the Sweet Pea Stamps image - love the Gothic Bride & Groom - and the flowers and laces.

The gorgeous tag above is part of the set as well as the little tag with sentiment shown below! I have a mini journal in the works to share later in the month as well and this time instead of highlighting with pink I will be highlighting with red - that's surely the beauty of a Black monochrome set - you can team with whatever colour you like!

I am also entering this card in the current Smudgy Antics "Anything Goes" Challenge and the new Dream in Darkness Blog with their "Anything Goes" Challenge as well!
