We have a great Itinerary over at the Desert Islands Crafters Challenge Blog for our new challenge which runs until the end of the month and all you need to do to enter is to use at least three of the items on your creation. Our sponsor for this challenge is Stitchy Bear.

Here is the itinerary:
1. Christmas
2. Green/Red (main colours)
3. Shaped Cards
4. Twine
5. Buttons
6. Sparkle
7. Kraft Paper
8.Stitching - real/faux
9. Pearls
10. Flowers

I've used 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 & 9 on my Xmas Card using Goldilocks + Three Bears image from the Stitchy Bear range. More inspiration and Stitchy Bear images used by the DT can be found at the challenge blog.

I used the sketch from the current challenge at Sketch Saturday to layout my card so I am entering the challenge at their blog!

One of Those Days!!

March 12th 2012
A new challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad today with a theme of "A Rainy & Windy Day" and this week our sponsor is Saturated Canary - I was lucky enough to work with the image "One of Those Days" and LOL she really is having a bad day!!

I've made this card using co-ordinating patterned papers from a Basic Grey 6 x 6 pad and I've used the new sketch from the Sketch Saturday Blog to layout this card.

We would love to see what you can create for this new challenge!

Framed Frida!!

February 26th 2012

This week I'm organised early for the new Dilly Beans Challenge which has the theme "All Sewn Up"!!! And some of you know that I just love to get my sewing machine out and sew whether it be fabric or paper so I couldn't resist this challenge! As well as that I still have a couple of new Dilly Beans images which I haven't used yet so for this card I've coloured "Framed Frida" and also a little Butterfly from the range. I just love the orange and pink colours of this card - nice & vibrant and perfect for the Colour me Creative Copics Challenge which has a gorgeous bright coloured inspiration picture! I've sewn all the elements onto this card which is layed out using the new sketch from the Sketch Saturday Blog. Lately I've been using colours I don't normally use so it's been great to step outside the "comfort zone"!!

As Cute as a Button

July 13th 2011
As you can see by the title the new challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge Blog is "Cute as a Button" so you need to incorporate buttons on your creation!!!

This is one of Michelle's new images "Molly" - isn't she cute?  I've tried to give this card a bit of 'vintage' flavour using some Basic Grey papers from my 6 x 6 "Curio" Pad and adding the wooden buttons and dyed muslin fabric.

This card is based on the new sketch at Sketch Saturday. And I've also entered it at the Tuesday Throwdown Blog for their "Fun in the Sun" challenge this week!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT have made at the challenge blog and remember you MUST use a Michelle Perkett Studio Image to enter our challenges!

Look Out Anya - Xmas is Coming!!

May 25th 2011

Poor little Anya is looking a little concerned that Xmas is coming quicker than she thought! I couldn't resist using this little CS Design Babushka for this new card using the latest Sketch Layout from the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog.

As you can see I've used a few 'non-traditional' colours for this card as I had already coloured Anya. At the Bella Creations Community they have a Xmas Card Challenge which for the month of May requires the use of the colour blue and buttons - hence those additions to this card!
These Little Babushkas from CS Designs are just so versatile - I have used them for Easter "Eggs", Birthday Cards and now Xmas Cards and I have even more ideas for them as well!

"Chloe" from the Land of Fae!

January 23rd 2011
I have just finished this card using "Chloe" a gorgeous little fairy from the range of Digi Stamps from Chris Stern of CS Designs. She has such a great range of arty and cute and her designs are great to work with! I love this little design and also you will find her twin sister "Hildie" on one of my earlier posts. I have used a sketch from the Sketch Saturday Blog and have entered this card in their challenge.
