Blank Page Muse Stamps January Challenge: "Turquoise, Silver & Sparkle"

January 11th 2018

A new format for the new year at the "Blank Pages Muse Rubber Stamps Blog" (formerly Sin City Stamps)!! This year we are having a monthly challenge at the blog so you can create and share your "Blank Page Muse" creations!! Theme is "Turquoise, Silver & Sparkle" and the challenge will run from the 10th January for a month - plenty of time to get your creations linked up!!

My creation uses stamps from the fabulous "Oddly Appealing by Cathy Frailey" - LOVE this set - so different and amazing to create with!!

Here's how I made this altered index card - I started with a Gelli Plate printed 6 x 4 index card (you will be able to see how I did this in my upcoming tutorial at the Blank Page Muse Blog later in the month!!!

I stamped the double faces and "face it" wording onto silver metallic card and fussy cut the faces and cut the wording out and edged with a black sharpie to give it a border.

Next came all the sparkly embellishments LOL!!! Snowflakes and little flower sequins plus sparkly mesh - who doesn't love sparkle and glitter???

I started to layout all the bits and pieces onto the index card so see how it would all fit and when I was happy I glued everything down!

And my finished creation - all nice and sparkly and silver and turquoise!!

Make sure you check out the blog for all the other amazing creations made by the rest of the DT - click the links and you can see how all the creations were put together!!! We can't wait to see your entries for our very first challenge!!!

Face it, the year's got to start up again some time soon - nice to see you have recycled the bling off the christmas tree already.
