A great new challenge at Wicked Wednesday for this week - "Gothic Valentine" - what a fantastic theme and lots of fun!! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with - bet we see some great images and designs this week! Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps - love their images!

Thinking of You in PINK!!

September 25th 2012

A new challenge for this week at Jacksons Digital Expressions and a great theme "Breast Cancer Awareness & use some sort of "Ink" Medium - I've used Copic Markers to colour Pink Ribbon Twyla from our sponosr this week "Bugaboo Stamps".

JJ Gardening

September 12th 2012

A great new CAS Challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions this week and as you can see from the image I have used we have Bugaboo Stamps as one of our sponsors. I've used "JJ Gardening" and coloured her with Copic Markers and she has been mounted onto the background card which is a great new digi patterned paper from Gecko Galz along with some die cut vines. I have to say I just love this image - I am a Greenkeeper but also look after a garden for a little private school so this reminds me of me LOL!!!

Retail Therapy

August 5th 2012

A reminder post for out "Take Time For You" Challenge at Wicked Wednesday - we always love to see your ATC creations and you also have the chance to win an image from our sponsor each week! My time for me this reminder post is "Retail Therapy" LOL!! Image on this ATC is from Bugaboo Stamps - coloured with Copics and the background is simply strips of colouring also with Copic Markers!

Hope Faith Love Courage Strength

July 28th 2012
I just had to make this Pink Ribbon themed card after learning that a relative of mine (same age as me) was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is having surgery this weekend. I'm planning to send this to her so she knows I am thinking of her.

Images on this card are from the Pink Ribbon designs by Bugaboo Stamps and I've used the sketch (on it's side) at the fantastic Link Up For Pink Blog's current challenge to layout this card.

I thought it was a great idea to link up to Beverly's Pink Saturday as well just to spread the word and remind everyone to think of those women who are suffering from Breast Cancer. You just never know what life will bring.

Pink Ribbon Saturday!

January 28th 2012

This week for Pink Saturday I am sharing a "Pink Ribbon" Card I made for a friend who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Bugaboo Stamps have a great little range of Pink Ribbon Ladies - I have several!!! The background of the card was made by repeating a Clip Art image. "Vivian" has been coloured with Copic Markers. The sentiment is also from Bugaboo. It's just a simple little card but was made with love!!

Happy Pink Saturday to everyone!!

Bugaboo Twelve Days of Xmas - Day 5

December 15th 2011

Well I've missed a few days and I don't think I will get any more done by the due date but here's my Day 5 card for the Bugaboo Challenge which required the use of "gold".

I've used a metallic gold card as the base as well as some gold on the card and the holly punched leaves. I've paper pieced the Bugaboo image so she has a metallic gold dress and boots!!! I've added white liquid applique to her dress to give that "fluffy/textured" look and pieced everything together using the current Mojo Monday Sketch!

Bugaboo Twelve Days of Xmas - Day 1

December 11th 2011

Bugaboo are having a 12 Days of Xmas Challenge and as I hadn't used any of my Bugaboo images for awhile I decided to see how many days I could get done!!! LOL I don't think I will have time to get all 12 done but I'll try to make a few!!

The first day required a "tree" so I've used the "DeDe Present" digi stamp as she's dressed in a tree costume! I used the current sketch from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

Stick 'Em Up!

April 27th 2011

This new card has been made with a relatively new image from the Bugaboo range of digis! This 'sassy' policewoman is out on the 'beat'!!!

I've made this card for the latest challenge at the Daring Cardmakers Challenge Blog - theme "Speaking Professionally" - so a card which showcases a profession. I wanted to make it a bit "arty" so I've actually used a vintage image of an old car and used earthy type papers from BasicGrey. Everything has been sewn onto the card and I've added my own 'sentiment' for a bit of fun and a little handcuff key!! And I'm happy with how it has turned out!

I have some relatives that I will be able to 'share' this card with!!!

Bugaboo Xmas Cards!

March 27th 2011
I made half a dozen Xmas cards this weekend for a challenge at the Bella Creations Community Xmas Card Challenge Group. The stipulation for these cards was NO green or red colours and NO xmas paper! I am actually a big fan of making non-traditional xmas cards so I was more than happy to join in with this!

I will share my 3 cards using digi images from the Bugaboo Stamps Xmas range and later in the week I will share the more Vintage Style cards I made also for the Bella Creations Challenge.

As you can see I have used blue, yellow and silver colourings for these cards! I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I am entering  my cards in the new challenge at the Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge as they require a "square" card and also The Secret Crafter has a xmas inspired theme challenge this week as well!

Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge - Birthday Girl!

March 19th 2011
The new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids is "Birthday Girl" and this challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - one of my favourite digi stamp companies! The winner of this challenge will win 7 Bugaboo Images!

Make sure you go and check out the other Design Team members creations (Wendy and Carol and Mari) and please take the time to visit our kind sponsor for this week.

And make sure you get to our blog and link your entry for this challenge!

I have used one of the gorgeous cupcake images from Bugaboo and made a couple of tags. The cupcake on the second tag was made from a die cut and my Big Kick!

Bugaboo Stamps New Challenge is to make something for a Baby/Child so I think my little cupcake girl fits right in!

Bugaboo "Green" Challenge

February 28th 2011
The latest challenge at the Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge Blog is to make a "green" card and use the sketch provided. I've made a green Xmas card (getting my stash made early!!)
For this card I have used various pieces of green papers and cardstock from my "collection" as well as a couple of little red pearls. Bugaboo images are always a lot of fun to work with!
Fairy Knoll also currently have a challenge "A Touch of Green" so I have entered my Xmas card there as well.

Bugaboo "Dottie" Tri Shutter Card

February 16th 2011
As you can see I've been very busy over the last few days making cards and have another one to share! This is another Tri Shutter card for the new Bugaboo "Catch the Bug" Challenge Blog which requires a "Different Fold". The papers I have used on this card are from a new 6 x 6 pad I recently purchased from the BasicGrey range called "Pyrus Paper Pad" - I love these colour tones something a bit different for me! The little charm doesn't show up that well but it says 'celebrate'.

The new Stamptacular Sunday Challenge has a theme this week of  "Lovin from the Oven" so as Dottie is holding her freshly baked cupcake I thought this card would suit their challenge as well!

Bugaboo Bride!

February 6th 2011
I've just quickly made this card for two new challenges. One is the new Bugaboo Challenge for Febraury which has an Anything Goes Theme. The second challenge is the new Friday Sketchers Challenge. I love this "bride" Bugaboo image I think she's gorgeous. I've used nice soft tonings of Bazzil cardstock, a piece of patterned paper, some gold photo corners and sentiment sticker and some really cute paper flowers. I have also entered this card in the "Desert Island Craft Challenge" where I had to use at least 3 of the items from the itinerary - I have used a hand coloured digi image, flowers, circle die cut and some sparkle (the gold photo corners and "congratualtions" sticker).

Easter Card

January 24th 2011
I've just made this Easter card for the new Bugaboo Challenge this week which is themed "Winter Whites" - I've decided to do an Easter White Card as here it's the middle of summer and I'm not feeling very "wintery"!
Also I Did It Creations have just released their Challenge theme for this week which is "A Card for a Child" so I think this fits the bill to be entered in their challenge as well!

Last Share for Today!

January 22nd 2011
I've just made this Birthday Card using "Dottie" from the Bugaboo Digi Stamps Range and I have used this weeks sketch from Friday Sketchers to lay out the card. I think Dottie looks very effective in her long red dress - she's ready to party!

Ava & Deacon Bookmarks

January 22nd 2011
The final mini challenge for Bugaboo Stamps 1st Birthday is "Anything Goes".  I have made Ava & Deacon into bookmarks - this happened because I accidentally printed them out a bit larger than I wanted for making cards so I decided to improvise and colour them, cut out, layer on background card and cut out again then laminate them and add tassels and call them bookmarks!!! I love bookmarks and I love reading so they will be put to good use!

Bugaboo "Birthday Card"

January 21st 2011
The new Mini Challenge for Bugaboo Stamps birthday week is to make a "Birthday Card"!! I've used the image "Pink Ribbon Penny". I've used Bazzil cardstock and patterned paper and my Big Kick to cut the circles. Bugaboo is sponsoring the "Do You Stack Up" Challenge this week so as the theme was "Pink" I decided to enter this card in their challenge as well!
