Blank Page Muse Stamps: Forever February!

Today I am sharing an altered index card along with new digital download images available in store!

"Forever" word stamp from the Romance Classic Couples Set

I've used a 6 x 4 index card which already had a "painty" background from excess paint from another project! I used the block pattern stencil and added some texture paste.

I printed the digital page onto light cardstock and fussy cut the images I wanted to use.

I stamped the word "forever" onto fabric and sewed onto a piece of scrap patterned card by Pam Bray.

I arranged all the collage images and stamped wording onto the index card along with a vintage focal image (Tim Holtz paper doll).

To finish off I zigzagged a border with my sewing machine.

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - T is for Tags!

I haven't created anything for awhile so I thought I would pop over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog and see what their current theme was as I love entering their challenges and love their themes!

I created this mixed media "Love" themed tag using some corrugated tag as the tag base along with paint, muslin cloth, other bits and pieces - great to use up some odds and ends in my stash!!

A new digi set by Vera Lane Studio - such gorgeous images and the sentiments are perfect!

Printed the sweet gal and wording on kraft paper and cut out. Page background is stickers, ink sprays, washi tape "LOVE" and a bit of my "signature" muslin cloth LOL!

An altered index card made for a Facebook challenge at the Gecko Galz group! Main image is from a digital stamp available at the Gecko Galz Etsy Store! Background index card is gelto print and excess paint and inks. Wording is computer generated. Main image "coloured" with ink pads.

Valentine Angel....

I'm back designing for Sandra Caldwell for the next two months as guest designer - just love working with Sandra's quirky cute and fun digis!! Today I am sharing #2022 Valentine Angel - a brand new release for this week and available now in store!!!!

Such a little cutie! I've coloured here with Copic markers and fussy cut and added to a page in my black journal - great effect the bright pink with the black! I did some recycling too as the solid light pink square in the background is a paint chip sample, also added paper doiley, clear gold design vellum square scrap, washi tape, "love" lettering, sparkly gems and a heart puffy sticker in the top corner!

Here she is coloured up before I fussy cut her and added her to the page:

Showing the embellies added and painty background. A bit hard to see but she has sparkly wings and I used some glitter paint on the background too.

A fun ATC made for the current trade at the Vera Lane Studio Facebook Group! I've used several images to compile" this gal for my ATC - that is the best thing about Vera Lane Studio digis - they are png files and you can mix & match!!

Gal is from the "Whimsical Garden Girl" Set, Hat is from the "Boutique Hats" Set, "Love" wording on the hat was a special freebie from Janet at Vera Lane and the hearts on the background are from the "Lil Love" Set. I printed the hearts direct to an ATC offcut of a lined index card and ink sprayed. Added some washi, fibre and computer generated wording. Digi image coloured with pencils and fussy cut. I edged the ATC with gold Smoosh!

I am entering this in the current "Hearts" ATC challenge at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog!

Don't Go Breaking My Heart...

A cute page in one of my journals for the current challenge at the Some Odd Girl Blog!!! I used the "twist" too which was a heart/valentine/pink inspiration. I used the digi "All Wet Cat" available in store - such a cute image.

Page background was left over paints, plus some texture medium mixed with acrylic paint through a stencil. Cat digi coloured with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added to page with some muslin/cheesecloth. I added a white wavy border to one side of the page plus some pink heart themed 3D stickers to the kitty and page corner. Wording is computer generated.

I had a lot of fun with this page and love how it all turned out!

Love is in the Air...

Sharing a Vera Lane Studio DT creation today! And as February is the month of "romance" LOL most of my makes for this DT will be love themed this month for fun!

Stamps sets used for this altered index card are:
Whimsical Girl and Dog in Heart Garden
Lil Love Whimsical Girl with Hearts
Oh La La Set (single hearts)

To make this altered index card I started by printing the pile of hearts digi from the Lil Love set directly to the card and then ink sprayed with pink and red. I added some washi tape to the card at the bottom and also a small bit in the top corner - washi tape is recycled from a package I received - waste not want not! Whimsical girl and hearts were coloured with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added to the background. I computer generated the "love is in the air" wording - cut out and edged with a sharpie. To finish off I used gold Smooch to edge the card.

This months challenge - the first challenge for 2016 at SLS Lines is and Anything goes Challenge! Easy to enter this one and have a chance to win some SLS Lines images from the store!!

 

I made this journal page with a gorgeous gal - added lots of hearts - digital patterned heart paper is also available from the SLs Lines store! I used texture paste & ink sprays. Cut out hearts and love word are silhouette files. We look forward to seeing your entries for this challenge!



Valentine Girl all in PINK....

NEW RELEASE day over at Sandra Caldwell's Etsy Store - fabulous new images available!!!!!!!!

This image is Valentine Gal - she is so cute I just had to have her to colour and create with - in pink of course!!! I've added her to a very pink mixed media journal page. background is gelatos, ink sprays, texture paste, stencilling, stamping and paint! Image coloured with pastel pencils. And I used my Cameo to cut the "love" wording.

Donna Downey Inspiration Wednesday Week 2

I am so excited to be playing along with the Donna Downey Inspiration Wednesday for 2015 - I am so loving it and loving trying all the new techniques and ideas!

This is my double page spread for Week 2 - a lovely collage inspired spread and how could I resist using pink as one of the colours! I made this a few weeks ago so I gave it a "Love" theme and used a gorgeous little digi image from Sandra Caldwell available at the Sweet Pea Stamps Store!

The February challenge at the One Sweet Challenge Blog is one of "Love" so I am entering my journal pages in their challenge!

"I Love You" Heart Banner ATC

Today I'm sharing this great little Black, White & Red "I Love You" Banner ATC using a fairly new stamp from JessicaLynnOriginal. The banner and wording stamps come form a great Brentwood Owl Valentine Set but I've found the stamps to be a lot more versatile than just saving them for Valentine's Day and to me stamps that can be used for all sorts of things are the best value!!!!

 

Background of the ATC is simple strips of washi tape - quick but effective and the black, white & red colour scheme always looks so striking!

Fitztown Challenge Reminder....

My final creation as Guest Designer at the Fitztown Challenge Blog - a journal page using one of the stunning "Cameo" digis available at the Fitztown Store! I just love this page with the pink & red colouring and minimal colouring on the image! Theme at the challenge blog is "Have a Heart" - perfect for this time of the year!

This month's "Anything Goes" Challenge has been posted at the SLS Lines Blog so pop over & see the DT inspiration and link up your entry! LOL when I saw this image for the challenge I just knew I had to make a "alternate" style journal page - I think it's a bit anti Valentine's Day LOL!!!

I jut love this black page journal a friend gave me - just adds a different look! Background colour is white Gesso with Dylusions sprays. I used a bit of texture paste and heart stencil to add the raised hearts down the side of the page. Image coloured with Copic Markers & fussy cut and mounted on the page with a few feathers behind. Page finished off with the little cardboard letters "Bugger Off!!" I had FUN with this page!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

So here in Australia it's already Valentine's Day and I'm sharing a cute little mini njournal page I made with a new set of stamps available at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store - a great set - perfect for this time of the year or really do you need an excuse to create with pink, red & hearts and of course Jessica's Signature "Brentwood" Owl?????

 

My page has a painted background, stamped image coloured with Copics and I added a lacey white border sticker, a paper doily and some little white stars! so cute!

 

Jessica has several new stamp sets out at the moment so make sure you head over to the Store and check them all out - I will be sharing my creations with the new sets over the next few weeks - I've had such a great time stamping & creating with them all that I have lots of things to share here on my blog!

Smeared Ink - Bloody Valentine Hop - Day 2....

Posting this a little early probably but my last post didn't schedule as it should have so I am making sure mine is up and running with plenty of time to spare!

Today I've made another journal page because I am really into my journals at the moment. I just love the "Grumpie's" images at the Smeared Ink Store and this "Elvis Grumpy" just cracks me up so he is wishing everyone a Bloody Valentine today - "Love Me Tender"!!!!
