Unruly Reader's Art Quest for April....

A new month which means a new "prompt" and/or "colour palette" at the Unruly Paperarts Site!! I love the prompt this month "Animal Instincts" which I have used for my "owls" tag - this month I didn't use the colour palette - it's totally up you to make what inspires you from our "theme" so get creating and link up so we can admire your arty creation!!

Image used on my tag is a gorgeous digi stamp available at the Sweet Pea Stamps Store by one of my favourite artists - Regan Kubecek! Tag background acrylic paint and image coloured with Copic Markers. I just fell in love with these little owls and am really happy with how my tag turned out!

I've created this tag for 2 things - one being the progressive challenge at the Sweet Pea Stamps FB Group and the other for the latest challenge at the Tag Along Blog with a theme of Angels!! I just got this new rubber stamp in the mail from Sweet Pea Stamps along with a few others to stamp out & play with! It's one of Regan Kubecek's artworks - just love Regan's images!!

I had so much fun making all of this tag - played with a new Wow glitter embossing powder - it sparkles so much more in real life than what this photo shows - it's really gorgeous - good excuse to get some more colours!!! I also embossed the edges of the tag with gold embossing powder and added a bit of glitter to the angel wings and her dress and halo. Finished off with feathers and a bit of lace.

I'm also entering this at the Sparkle & Sprinkle Challenge Blog which always has an Anything Goes theme but you must use glitter or embossing powders - I've certainly used embossing powder today and "glitter" embossing powder to make certain my entry fits the requirements LOL!!
