It's Saturday again and time for another Pink Saturday creation! I've used a card with an image from  Michelle Perkett Studio again this week with a relatively new image "Joy"!

She's been coloured with Copic Markers and mounted on some patterned paper and I've added a "smile" label, skeleton leaves and a paper butterfly! I couldn't resist using pinks for this image!

I visited lots of gorgeous pink creations last week - I hope you have been visiting some new blogs too!

Edward & Bella - Love at First Bite!!

I've made this "Twilight" themed card for my daughter's birthday! How could I resist this cute image of Edward & Bella for her when she is a big Twilight fan!

The patterend papers are from my 6 x 6 Crate Paper Restoration Collection Pad. And the round sentiment stamp is from  a Lili of the Valley Circular Sentiments stamp set.

Karber Digis have a challenge that I am entering this in as well.

Good vs Bad

This new card has been made  using the new sketch from the Easy Craft Projects Challenge Blog and I've made it to fit the new theme of the Forever Night Challenge Freaky Friday theme show your good or evil side - LOL this shows both!!!

As you can see I have mirrored this great "Arty Expression" design from CS Designs and have printed the "good" on light cardstock and added some "pink" eyeshadow and printed the "bad" on darker cardstock and added "red" eyeshadow. In other words "light = good & dark = bad" - I'm getting very deep with my reasoning behind this card!!!!

I found this quote at the Quote Garden which matched my "theme" perfectly!

The only difference between a good day

Mary had a Little Lamb

Here's my creation for the new Gingersnap Creations Spicy Supply Challenge - "Baby Wipes". This is my second "project" as one of the Visiting Artists for the "Joys of Childhood"  themed month.

I've never used Baby Wipes on a craft project before but I had a great time inking the wipes and experimenting with this "plaid" design on glossy card. I love the effect and it makes a great background for this wonderful "Mary had a Little Lamb" image from the Octopode Factory.

I printed the nursery rhyme onto the card after I made the baby wipe background and I love the effect. The images have been coloured with Copic Markers. I've attached lace around the background card and I have used foam mounting tape for Mary and her Lamb. I've also coloured cotton balls with ink and glued them to make the lamb's "wool"!!!!

I love this cute card - I think it's the nice bright colours and the quirky Mary and her little Lamb images!!

Summertime Fun!

All these "summery" creations and challenges make me wish for the sunshine and heat here Down Under!!!!
Here is my card for this week's challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio Blog:

The image on this card is the "3 Graces Ballerinas" and I thought they looked nice and summery dancing together and I couldn't resist colouring them pink! I've cut the shapes from some Spellbinder Die Cuts with my Big Kick and used pink and grey textured cardstock and patterned paper. I made the little "Happy Birthday" sentiment myself and I've added some paper flowers and pink pearls for embellishment.

This is a great challenge for summer and there are heaps of different designs in Michelle's range that would suit this theme! And remember you must use a MPS image to enter our challenges!

A House without a Pet!

A House without a Pet is Not a Home!!! How true is this! I have 2 cats and 3 dogs and I wouldn't be without them - in fact they run my house LOL not me, my husband or my kids but the animals!!!

Chris - CS Designs - has just released some great new "homely" sentiments - great for a new home, or just friends or family!

This simple but effective card was made with strips of a "cat themed" 12 x 12 paper and the sentiment was printed directly onto the card.

Simply Create have a "favourite animal" challenge so my kitties have made their way to their blog!

Help Mum it's a "Twilight" Overdose!!!

Well my "quirky" mood is back at the moment as you will see from this card!! I couldn't resist when I saw the new "Kreepy Kids" Challenge for Macabre Monday at the Haunted Design House Blog this week!

The "kids" image is from the new Dezinaworld Gothic Sheet I bought on the weekend (same as the image I used on my age is a prison card). And how could I resist adding the wording - "don't tell mum but I think we've overdosed on the "Twilight" movies" - when I have a daughter who has read all the books, seen all the movies at the theatre and owns all the dvd's!!!!!

I printed the kids image onto some paper I had "painted" using the credit card technique, I also "dripped" red paint on the black leather look background paper. I've added some red ink over the wording, added some gold photo corners to tie in with the gold base card and added a silver cross to finish it off!

How would you like your kids to come home from the movies looking like that if it wasn't Halloween??????
