Dragon Scales........

September 29th 2014

As promised yesterday - here's my other card using Jasmine Becket-Griffith's "Sienna Dragonling" Stamp available at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store! I've changed the colours around as I wanted to achieve a bit more of a "grungey" look.

I found these great "scaley" digital papers at the GraFunK Etsy Store - great range and great price - love to just print off what I need! Dragon and "wishes" wording cut on my silhouette. I added a piece of black cobwebby looking mesh behind the image and a couple of green pearls to finish off. I distressed all the paper edges with my distressing tool - always love the effect that gives.

Make sure you check out all the great rubber stamps at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store - I have some more sets to start working with - a great range!

Sienna Dragonling and her Castle.....

September 28th 2014

Here's another JessicaLynnOriginal creation using one of their exclusive Jasmine Becket-Griffith stamps "Sienna Dragonling" - just a perfect image - I loved colouring and creating with this stamp!

I just couldn't resist teaming her with this amazing castle from the Silhouette Store - can you tell I am still amazed by what this machine can do! I thought the little dragon was suited to a Medieval/Fantasy type castle background card. I added my favourite muslin fibre along with some hessian, gems and the little charm says "believe".

You can find a range of Jasmine Becket-Griffith stamps at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store - great to colour and create with. I have another creation to share tomorrow with the same image but totally different look - so stay tuned!

The Rum Tum Tugger is a Curious Cat......

September 26th 2014

A special extra "Monochromatic" challenge at The Sailing Pineapple Blog for the launch this month! I've made this very green journal page and used one of my favourite The Sailing Pineapple images "Oscar" and the first line of the TS Eliot poem!

Background is Dylusions spray inks in shades of green plus some acrylic also in shades of green - of course! and you can just see my fish skeletons down the side of the page cut with my silhouette.

Enjoyed playing around making this page with all the spraying, sponging and scarping LOL!

Love is a four Legged Word.....

September 21st 2014

I had so much fun creating this page especially for the current challenge at the "A Song in Your He(Art)" Challenge Blog - the song prompt is "I've got a Dog" - LOL couldn't be more perfect for me!! And I had this great little Papillon image by JessicaLynnOriginal so how could I resist!

Background is little Artnic square ink pads stamped all over the page and then fully embossed - love the effect! The phrase and paw print/bone are a Silhouette File - again just perfect for this page!

I have 3 dogs and I love them all - life would be easier but very boring without them LOL!!!
