Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

May 4th 2019

I'm joining the 2019 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using a fab new digi especially for the hop by one of the hop sponsors - JessicaLynnOriginal - "Happy Cactus in Coffee Cup"! I've turned the coffee cup into a coffee pot for the cactus plant LOL!!!!

Lots of sponsors and prizes - I haven't "played" at the coffee lovers hop for awhile so it was great to get this image from JessicaLynnOriginal and colour it up and create with it!

Feeling Rubbery.....

November 26th 2016
My post today is revisiting some "rubber stamped" creations I've made!! I had fun picking out some of my "favs" for this post - realised I love to create with lots of different style of images and using lots of different mediums to complete the creations!

Mixed media cards using Prima Bloom girls - great large stamps to create with and I loved colouring them with different mediums!

Lost Coast Designs have some great stamps to create with this is a little mini mixed media journal page which I think started as a bit of a "mop up" page for excess paints and ink on a background stamp and was worked on from there.

Below is one of my favourites from ICAD this year - just love the bird stamp and had so much playing with paint and making the circles.

Love the texture of this next page and the addition of the lace and braid scraps I attached with my sewing machine and great medieval style stamp.

Below are some creations using Stampotique Stamps - such quirky stamps available!!
Firstly a mixed media double page journal spread - this was so much fun to create with paint, stamps and embossing powder for a December/Xmas theme!!

And below are two sets of stamped ATC's made for swaps - LOL the first set were nix and match - using several stamps and cutting them up and making a new character and of course the 2 under that are Halloween themed!!!

And a few rubber stamps from JessicaLynnOriginal. Altered index cards below combine the rubber stamped coffee cup with collage images and mixed media background!

Love to create tag art and this Boston Terrier rubber stamp worked perfectly with the background for this and matching elements! I coloured this image with pastel pencils - always love the effect from these pencils.

A couple of dog themed "Moo's" - using toy dog stamps - stamped dogs directly to the Moo and coloured with pencils.

Altered playing cards with textured and ink backgrounds and stamps coloured with copics - I loved how these turned out - the colours are vibrant and I love the backgrounds.

Rubber stamps are so versatile and it was great to look back over my past creations with them and add this post to my blog!

Strategic Staples.....

September 16th 2016
Sharing a couple of collaged index cards using staples as the attachment - no glue OMG!!! Digi images which I printed on kraft coloured paper are by JessicaLynnOriginal - the first one has "Brentwood" Owl as the "Mad Hatter" and the second has an Egyptian style cat - love them both!

This first card is my entry in this month's challenge over at the Desert Islands Crafts Challenge Blog http://desertislandcraftschallenge.blogspot.com - take a look at this challenge blog - it's just started up again and it's a lot of fun to create using items from the "itinerary" each month! This month has an "Alice in Wonderland" theme to it hence my card below being entered!

I've used the following items from the list:
1. Wonderland - has an "Alice" tea party image!
2. Flowers - there are some flowers on the old book page in the background
5. Tea Party - Brentwood is having his own tea party
8. Furry Friend? well questionable - LOL a "feathery" owl friend!
10. Black & Red

My card below uses old book page, tissue paper, silhouette cut out etc. - love the Egyptian theme.

Sunshine on a Rainy Day.....JLO Journal page

September 9th 2016

I made this some time ago but realised I hadn't published it here on my blog! Digi "Brentwood Owl" by JessicaLynnOriginal.

I've created a mixed media journal page in my A4 journal. Background is ink sprays. Digi coloured with pastel pencils, fussy cut and adhered to the page with some ink sprayed muslin cloth. Wording stamped with alphabet stamps to finish off!

Brentwood Owl - Home of the Brave - NEW Stamp Set by JessicaLynnMould

August 13th 2016

A new stamp set released at JessicaLynnOriginal today - check out the website and if you are on Facebook check out the group and what the rest of the DT have made!

My first creation is a layered/collaged altered index card using 2 of the stamps from the set. The "patterned papers" are gelli prints I had fun printing with this week - have had my Gelli Plate for nearly 12 months and had never used it!!! I printed Brentwood Owl and the sentiment on gelli print paper too.

My next creation also involves Gelli Plate printing - this time I printed direct onto an envelope - back and front. I printed Brentwood owl on white paper and coloured with colour pencils and fussy cut and adhered to the front of the envelope. Round stamp in the top corner is from the set as well. Bird on wire stamp and flower along the bottom are also stamps by Jessica but from different sets.

The snail mail stamp is also part of the set - cute!

JessicaLynnOriginal goes Aussie......

July 30th 2016
A brand new stamp set at JessicaLynnOriginal - an "Aussie" set of stamps - so great to have some Aussie stamps to work with!!!!

I've made 3 collaged & stapled 6 x 4 index cards with the stamps from this set. Firstly this one uses the "Kiwi" stamp - a New Zealand bird and some great summery/island holiday themed patterned papers and cut outs by Kaisercraft - love the tropical feel and soft colours of this.

The next 2 index cards use Aussie themed scrapbooking papers, some mesh and hessian bits and once again stapled to hold things together! I stamped onto kraft coloured paper and fussy cut and added to the layers. I love the "leaf" stamp - so versatile and great to multi stamp it out and create some interest.

Make sure you check out the rest of the DT's creations - link can be found here at Jessica's Website!

Xmas in July with JessicaLynnOriginal...

July 4th 2016
Welcome to my third post promoting the new release digis at JessicaLynnOriginal!! Today I am sharing Xmas in July cards with 3 of the xmas themed digis: "Christmas Goat" & "Scrooge Brentwood Owl" & "Sydney Penguin"!!

My cards with the Xmnas Goat & Brentwood Owl have layers of patterned digital papers by Tsunami Rose along with some extra embellishments - love collage style cards and a vintage "feel"!!

Reindeer Sydney Penguin is on an altered index card and I have used scraps of digital papers from Gecko Galz to make the layered background. Sydney has been coloured with pastel pencils - always love the effect from pastels. And to finish off I added some string with snowflake charms for a wintery feel.

Make sure you check out all the new digis in store now - they are available for instant download once purchased and remember to visit the FB Group for lots more inspiration and updates!!

More JessicaLynnOriginal New Release Digis....

July 3rd 2016

Sharing more creations using new release digis for the new DT term announcement. Today I have some mixed media tag art.

I've used the butterfly and bird digis available in store at JessicaLynnOriginal. The digis have simply been printed on kraft coloured paper and fussy cut and added to my altered and decorated tags.

Manilla tags were covered with paper towel that I had been using to "mop up" excess ink sprays from other creations - they look so effective and the colours are nice and rich - a perfect way of using up leftover products and recycling/upcycling!! I then added some muslin cloth, braids, feathers, paper flowers, Tim Holtz tags & some twine.

Digi stamps are: "Winged One Butterfly" and "Beautiful Finch"
