Gecko Galz: A Spot of Tea + Freebie Xmas in July Collage Sheet

 Before I share my creations I have a "freebie" collage sheet to share with you as part of the Gecko Galz "Xmas in July" month - if you visit all the DT you can grab a sheet from each one of us!

I've created a couple of altered playing cards using these images which are the perfect size for smaller creations!

I am also sharing my altered double tag made using an image from the "A Spot of Tea" collage set - just love the "tea themed" images! Patchwork background uses the little square images from the Nouveau Garden Jewel It collage set along with a heat embossed stencil embellishment.

Hug A Panda at Oddball Art Stamps....

July 7th 2018

I'm guest designer at Oddball Art Stamps Blog this month and if you pop over to the Blog today you can see how I made these altered tags with Image No. 226 Chubs the Panda!

I love the colour on these tags made with paper towel used for "mopping up" excess ink sprays. Added dots for the "Dots & Doodles" theme for the month!! Make sure you get a creation done for the challenge!!!

Altered Playing Card Art Dolls...

Still sharing creations made some time ago!! These are altered playing card made for a swap in an Aussie Group I belong to.

 



 

Collage elements on this knitting themed altered card are by Art Tea Life.

 



This altered playing card uses collage bridal head by Dezinaworld. I added digital paper and ribbon and lace plus a little heart charm and some pearls to suit the bridal theme.

LOL I should have posted this before Xmas but oh well!

Vera Lane Studio has a great **NEW** range of digis coming out in 2018 and this is a "taste" of the style of the digis in the "Arthur Avenue" range!! They are so fab - great to create with and of course nice and quirky!

I altered a 6 x 4 journaling card (polka dot background) - added a torn book page, some texture paste, washi tape, computer generated wording and of course the Xmas Tree Gal!! Can't wait to share more Arthur Avenue creations next year!

I never get bored with "Alice in Wonderland" images!! Here are3 x altered index cards using new "Wonderland" digis by Vera Lane Studio!!! 2 **NEW** Wonderland themed sets have been released this month and we have been having fun at the Facebook Group creating for this theme!

I have been "altering" 6 x 4 lined index cards using bits and pieces from all the sets - perfect with the png files - so easy to merge and create scenes!

I printed the journal pages from the Accessory set directly onto the index cards and then ink sprayed them and edged them with archival ink pads.

I coloured all the images with Copic markers and fussy cut. All the "wording" that I have added are Vera Lane digis too!

Too much fun colouring and creating with these digis!!

An altered 5 x 7 index card made using a great collage image by Gecko Galz for one of their monthly Facebook Group challenges!

 



Collage "gal" is one of the great images from the sheets titled: "Tattoo Girls" - I love all the girls on these sheets - great to create with! I added this girl to a ink sprayed tissue paper background along with a gold paper doiley and some matching coloured braid. Wording is computer generated.

Kokeshi Dolls....

A new set of digis by Janet at Vera Lane Studio - Kokeshi Dolls! I've made several creations with these gorgeous digis.

Firstly an ATC using a scrap piece of card left over from another creation - ATC's are a great way to use up left over bits and pieces!

I just love the backgrounds and colours of these tags - made very simply with blobs of acrylic paint and a brayer! Digis coloured with pastel pencils and fussy cut. To finish off I added some cord to the tag tops and a few little stickers.

Finally two altered drink coasters - made for a swap I hosted at another group I belong to. Digis also coloured with pastel pencils and added to the collaged backgrounds. Too cute!

Another creation from 2016 - altered index card made for the "Red & White" Challenge at the Gecko Galz Facebook Group. Collage woman and quote are from sheets by Gecko Galz!

I used torn scraps of paper for the card background and added the fussy cut woman and torn quote with some scraps of braid! I think it looks quite classy! A great way to use up your bits & pieces because if you are like me you never throw any piece of paper away LOL!

Altered playing cards for a "Quote" swap for a little crafty group I belong to. We had to send a title page and quote card to two partners.

Here are my two "title" pages using collage elements from Art Tea Life:

And the two "quote" altered cards I made using images by Lisa's Altered Art and quotes from Gecko Galz.

Backgrounds are texture paste and stencil with ink sprays.
