My journal page creation for the Craft My Life Blog where I am a guest Designer again this month - Elaine hasn't posted the new challenge yet but it runs for the month of January and I made 2 creations so will share my other journal page later! I just couldn't hold off posting this page any longer because I was keen to share it on my blog for the new year!

I've used Jessica's limited release New Year Brentwood Owl digi yet again - I just loved it so much I wanted to make several things with him! Remember he's a limited release so pop over to the JLO Store and grab him while you can "click here" - JLO has a FB Page where we would love to see your Brentwood creations!!

Clock images and patterned paper scraps are from Gecko Galz and the "woot woot" is cut on my Silhouette!

January RAQ at Unruly Paperarts....

January 3rd 2015
A new year and more exciting times at the Unruly Paperarts Site! We are starting off the new year with a great RAQ prompt for you to create with and share!

I've created a journal page from the photo prompt which has a "global travel" theme - check it out at the website - click here! Images are from Vera Lane Studio - love the "Parisian" rabbits LOL!!! Background done with acrylic paints and also we are so lucky to have PanPastel as our sponsor for the month and they kindly supplied the team with some to "play" with - I've used them on my page!

I printed some of the images on old book pages - not sure if they are French pages but they look like it!! The "rabbits" were printed on white card and coloured with Copic Markers. I used some Pan Pastels on the background to highlight around the images and also some colour on the Eiffel Tower, clouds and at the bottom of the page.

We would love to see how the prompt and colour palette inspire you so make sure you link up your creation so we can visit you!

New Blog: Anya, Oddies & Others.........

January 2nd 2015

We are starting the year off with a new blog for all our stamping friends. We want you to share your craftiness with others just for fun and inspiration!

The new Linky Party blog, Anya, Oddies, and Others! is all about stamps. Link up current creations on the correct page (easy). We have specific companies featured, but we also have the 'Others' page where you can link up any stamp manufacturer. The catch...we want you to use one of the craft options we are asking to see (again, easy).

Check back at the blog every Wednesday for a WOW'd me on Wendesdays post!!!

Okay so I'm providing some inspiration today for the "Art Impressions Page" at the new blog - grab you AI stamps and get creating then link up to the AI Page at the blog and join the linky party for January!

Remember to use one of these 3 items on your AI creation for January: "colour orange, circle, ribbon or sentiment" - easy!

I've used the colour orange, a circle and a sentiment of sorts "fun"!!! And we hope you have fun creating for our linky party!!!

My card was cut from a Silhouette file and the fantastic "raindrop" papers I found at the "Itty Bitty Pixel" Etsy Store - just perfect for this stamp "Girlfriends" by AI!

We are looking forward to lots of link ups for this fun monthly party!!

Rise & Shine - It's "Nearly" a New Year......

December 31st 2014

This week at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog we are having an "Anything Goes ATC Theme" - just for fun to see out 2014 and welcome 2015 - so we would love to see your ATC's of anything you like!!! My image was especially drawn up by Jessica from JessicaLynnOriginal to see in the New Year and start of 2015!

I printed the image twice and cut out "Brentwood's" Top Hat and Flags and mounted them for a 3D effect. Image coloured with Copic Markers of course. Background patterned papers and the "rise & shine" wording are all from Gecko Galz. I added some red hessian for a bit of texture.

This image is available as a digi at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store BUT you must be quick and "nab" him because he is only a limited release and will exit the store come January 31st - here's the link - click here!

Sharing a card using a new "limited release" digi image available at the JessicaLynnOriginal Store! Be quick and grab this great image to celebrate the new year!!

I printed the image multiple times on my card and added one large image to colour as the focal point. wording is computer generated. A great fun card and image to prepare for the new year!

And I'm entering my card in a few challenges:
C.R.A.F.T Challenge Blog with an "Anything Goes" theme
Double Click Skittles Challenge Blog with a "New" theme - my card has a "New" Year theme and also the image is brand new!!

More Fabric Hangings....

December 27th 2014

I know xmas is over but it's still the festive season so I am sharing the other 2 fabric ornaments I have just finished - yes I'm a bit late but they will still be perfect for next year and I still have them hanging on my little tree ornament until the end of 2014!!

Dog images are from the JessicaLynnOriginal Store the same as my xmas day post - just perfect for dog lovers! Images were stamped/transferred onto calico. I coloured them with chalks and sprayed with sealer to set the chalk and stop it from rubbing off. I sewed around them and "stuffed" them, added some xmas embellishments, some raffia/string "angel wings" and some fishing wire to make a loop to hang them! I had so much fun creating these - I could make dozens of them with Jessica's stamps LOL!!!

I'm entering these in the current A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Christmas Challenge. The Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog has an Anything Goes theme. And a perfect challenge at the We Do Doobadoo Blog - Festive Spirits!

And finally the Chalk N Stock Challenge Blog have the most perfect challenge for these little hangers - their requirements are to use some form of chalks on your creation and as all my ornaments were coloured with "chalks" this is the perfect challenge!
