See Spots Bones.....

April 22nd 2019
A fun digi that was a freebie with a recent Oddball Art Stamps Newsletter - the "idea" was actually my suggestion and Lizzy was kind enough to send me the digi early to create with! I'm a dog lover so what else would I suggest for a Creepy Cute style digi LOL!!!

My first creations were these ATCoins - I always love making the art coins - size 2.5 inches round - a really fun size to create on!! These coins were made with a monochrome theme and I printed the digi dog on kraft paper and fussy cut and added to the mixed media background coins - WOOF!!!

I also couldn't resist creating a page in one of my art journals - added the copic coloured digi to a painty and stencilled background. too cute!!!

A Little Magic Can Take You a Long Way!

July 16th 2018
Sharing another "Dots & Doodles" creation for the current Oddball Art Stamps Challenge this month.

I've decorated a page in one of my small journals using the fun "Creepy Cute Monster Family" LOL. I printed the monster family onto kraft paper and fussy cut and added to my dotty background!! Wording digi stamp is also by Oddball Art Stamps.

Hope you can find some time to create and play along with the challenge this month!

Hug A Panda at Oddball Art Stamps....

July 7th 2018

I'm guest designer at Oddball Art Stamps Blog this month and if you pop over to the Blog today you can see how I made these altered tags with Image No. 226 Chubs the Panda!

I love the colour on these tags made with paper towel used for "mopping up" excess ink sprays. Added dots for the "Dots & Doodles" theme for the month!! Make sure you get a creation done for the challenge!!!

Oddball Art Stamps: Dots & Doodles Challenge!

July 1st 2018

I'm lucky enough to be Guest Designer at Oddball Art Stamps Blog this month for their "Dots & Doodles" themed month! Today is the start of this months challenge and I am sharing how I made my dotted background altered index card! make sure you visit the blog to see what the DT have created and to get your entry in for this month!

I started with a 6 x 4 inch index card - I have the "lined" cards but the lines showing through on creations never bothers me - it adds to the texture and uniqueness - plain card works just the same!!!!

Use an embossing pad and some "circle" rubber stamps - I had this little pack of 4 sized circles by Hero Arts which worked perfectly. I stamped each size randomly over the background with the embossing ink.

Next add white embossing powder and heat emboss. White embossing always looks great!

I wanted a cool wintery look to use with the Oddball Art Image I chose for this creation so I grabbed a few different shades of blue and a grey and used a sponge to cover the card.

Last thing to add to the background was a "doodled" border using a black pen. LOL just scribble!!

I coloured the Image Number 393 Big Eye Peggy Sue with Copic markers. She's all rugged up for Winter because here in Australia it is winter!!!!

I fussy cut the Big eye gal and cut out the wording ready to add to the index card along with some hot pink ink sprayed muslin cloth, some metal corner charms and some washi tape also in hot pink (my fav colour)!!

Once everything was arranged I started gluing it all onto the card!

All finished and in keeping with this months theme! Hope you like it! Make sure you check out the Oddball Art Stamps store so you can create and play along at the challenge this month! And thanks ot Oddball Art Stamps for having me as Guest DT!!

May 29th 2018
OOHHH Ghouly Gals for the current challenge at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog - which I think I may have missed entering but here they are to show anyway!!!

These ATC's are also for the Facebook ATC trade with the same theme!! So much fun to create with these quirky designs available at the Oddball Site!!

Backgrounds are gelatos, washi tape and muslin cloth. Digis coloured with Copics and fussy cut and the wording is computer generated. So much fun putting these together!

Messy Yeti's....

April 29th 2018

These ATC's were created for the Oddball Stamps Facebook Group ATC swap for this month! theme of  "Messy & Sketchy" and that is also the theme for the Blog Challenge this month too.

These cute little "Yeti's" are available at the Etsy Store! I've coloured them with Copics and fussy cut and added to the ATC backgrounds which were dry embossed with watercolour paper and Brushos! Some added washi tape, cotton and computer generated wording finished them off - and not to forget the "wobbly" eyes I added!

Little Monsters.....

March 7th 2018

Two little ATC's made for the current Oddball Art Stamps Facebook group swap and also to enter in the current Blog Challenge - themes of: "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie" - LOL cute!!

I've used "Mr Monster" available HERE at the Etsy store!! I started with thick cardboard as the bases and covered with gelli prints, embossed the edges, added some muslin cloth and computer generated wording and finally the copic coloured and fussy cut monsters!!

You're a Hoot!

February 24th 2018
Sharing 2 ATC's for this months Oddball Stamps Facebook Group "Cute or Die" swap! I've used "Zombie Owls" available at the Oddball Stamps Etsy store! I'm also entering these in the current Blog Challenge which has the same theme!

I used die cut offcuts to add texture to the background along with gesso and ink sprays. Fussy cut the owls and added sticky mesh, scraps of muslin cloth, feathers and the wording to the ATC background. Hope the recipients like them!

Unconditional Love.........

February 15th 2018
Sharing two ATC's made recently for a swap at the Oddball Stamps Facebook Group.

I've used a cute puppy "Maddy" as the focus image on my ATC's - probably my most fav Odddball digi at the moment! Digis are coloured with Copics and added to mixed media backgrounds - old book pages with gesso, texture paste and ink sprays. Wording is computer printed.

You can find the whole range of Oddball Art Stamps at the Etsy Store - check them out - too much fun - love the whimsical and quirky characters!

Give the Dog a Bone...

September 13th 2016

A journal page made for the current challenge at the Oddball Stamps Blog with a theme of "Use the Colour Blue"!! I've used "Whimsical Puppy Maddy" and coloured her blue with pastel pencils and added her to a mixed media journal page all in blue! Lots of blue and it's not normally a colour I create with!

Background journal page is blue shades of acrylic paint covered with Tim Holtz tissue paper then I added texture paste through a stencils and coloured with water soluble pastels, some washi tape and little cardboard letters. Love how this turned out!
