Celebrate with Lizzy in Purple & Yellow
November 7th 2013
My card for today's post uses one of Maigan Lynn's new images available at the Queen Kat Designs Store! I chose to use the purple & yellow colour scheme so I cound enter Vicki's colour challenge at her blog - The Cheerful Stamp Pad - these 2 colours look great together and I loved colouring "Lizzy" & her little dragons!
Add a Feather!
November 6th 2013
We have the theme "Add a Feather" at Wicked Wednesday this week! And a wonderful sponsor - "A Day For Daisies" - love their images!
I've used digital patterned papers from Dana Garson Design's Etsy Store - these are just perfect for this little girl with her blue bird! Image has been coloured with Copic Markers and I added some real feathers and beaded braid - I think I might make this ATC into a card!
We look forward to your creations!
Hindu Beauty
November 5th 2013
A new month and that means new releases at Gecko Galz! The image on my card is from the new "Hindu Beauty" Collage Sheets - you really must check these out - some really really stunning & gorgeous images!!!
Background patterned paper is also new release for November from the "Miss Muffett" Digital Paper Set. I added some fibre and gold sticker corners - something quick and simple but soft looking and really the image is the feature.
More inspiration using the new release Collage Images, Digital Stamps & Patterned Papers can be found at the website in the DT Gallery!
"Hoo's" Late?
November 4th 2013
I'm still trying to catch up on my Journal Calendar Pages for The Kathryn Wheel!!! So over the weekend I finally got August done! (Now I just have September to do and then I can work on this month's).
I decided to do the pages in "Fall" colours and also enter it in the current Dilly Beans Challenge - I have had the cute owl image from Dilly Beans for some time and hadn't used it so I decided to print some off and have fun with paint and glue LOL!!
I made the days of the week from a leaf die cut, added some branches for the owls to sit in and die cut the "August" lettering. I had very messy fingers after this but I love it!

Bombshell Blog Hop for "Shannon"!!
November 1st 2013
Today we are having a blog hop with past & present designers and guest designers of Bombshell Stamps.
"Shannon is the Queen Bombshell and owns Bombshell Stamps. Today is her birthday, so some past and present Bombshell Girls and Pin-Ups got together to hold a huge Blog Hop in her honor! Don't miss out on the fun - get hopping!!
My card uses one of my favourite Bombshell images - it's from the Geisha Digital Set - I just love the Asian theme! I used some Japanese paper for the background as well as some gorgeous fibrous Japanese paper around the image. I printed the "Happy Birthday" in an Asian style font directly to the background paper and added some little flower charms in the top corner!
