Sharing a new acetate based card made using one of the quirky "Alice in Waterland" images by Deborah Muller available at the QKD Store.

It's always hard to photograph these cards but I tried LOL!!!

 

 

Patterned papers were "tea" themed and perfect for this image - they are digital papers from the Prettygrafik Etsy Store.

Patterned papers are from a 6 x 6 [pad from My Mind's Eye - I love the colours. I added some mushroom cut outs, happy birthday wording and a clock charm to finish it all off!

Some fabulous new release images at the Queen Kat Designs Store - "Alice In Waterland by Deborah Muller" - you really must check them out!! I am sharing one designs today and will have another to share next week! I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them!

I made a card with this "Alice" image and used pastel colourings. The papers are from the "Digital Scrap Etsy Store" - I thought they were a perfect match for the image.

Image was printed on linen finish card and coloured with Copic Markers. I added a sheer bow to the spine of the card along with some hessian flowers and Happy Birthday gold plaque.

I have the other design all printed out ready to colour & create with!!

Seaside....

A new card using a new image from Maigan Lynn - available at the QKD Store! Wow there was so much detail in this design - I had such fun with my Copic markers! Background digital papers are from Gecko Galz.

I printed the image on linen finish card for a more textured look although you have to be careful as the Copics can bleed a bit.

I tied a bow with some string and pink bakers twine and added a shell bead to finish it all off!

A new Maigan Lynn design available at the Queen Kat Designs Store! I've used "beachy" colours and patterned papers for my card along with a great anchor charm and little bubble stickers that look like water droplets - just perfect to embellish my seaside card!

Can you believe it's nearly the end of February??? Where is the year going?

I couldn't resist making another Black & White card with this gorgeous "Black Calla" image available at the QKD Store! Maigan's image are always so great to work with - she has a lot of details and I just love the trademark "loooong" eyelashes LOL!!

I am also going to add this creation to The Cheerful Stamp Pad "Black & White" Colour Challenge!

Today I am sharing a card with a new image by "Maigan Lynn" available at the Queen Kat Designs Store - I just love this image - has an elegant feel!

Image was printed on white shimmer card and I added some coloured highlights with soft coloured Copic Markers. I used some shimmer lace patterned paper for the background, a silk ribbon & diamanti buckle for some glitz and some sparkly diamonds - very classy!

I am also entering this card at The Cheerful Stamp Pad in Vicki's "Black & White" themed challenge!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! Today's post is a page in my journal using a new image from the Queen Kat Designs Store - perfect for my February Page & Valentine's!  Images were all printed on tissue paper and "modge podged" to my painted page. I added some little heart sequins for a bit of sparkle and romance!!

 

 

 

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day - it's been raining all day here which is a total turn around to the heatwave we have been experiencing - so I have not been able to do any of my tennis court today - a day off to do nothing LOL!!!

I'm sharing a Valentine Collage card using a new stamp from Queen Kat Designs "I Love You" and as I thought it had a bit of a vintage feel to it that's the look I went for with my card!

Backing Bingo collage image is from Gecko Galz and the cute little couple was a freebie from Lisa Vollrath which I got years ago!!

I loved adding bits and pieces to my card - haven't done a real collage style card for awhile so this was fun!

I am entering my card in 2 challenges - firstly The Cheerful Stamp Pad "Love/Valentine" challenge and secondly the Luna Girl "Vintage Red" Challenge - both perfect challenges for this card and time of the year!

My card today is in blue tones - blue is a colour I don't use a lot but it does look nice and soft! Image is one of the new releases at the Queen Kat Designs Store - a perfect Valentine's image. Patterned digital papers are from Gidget Designs Etsy Store. I layered this card, added a ribbon and also added some beads to some hat pins and put on the side of the card.

My first red, black & white tag has patterned papers from the Below Blink Etsy Store.



My second tag in pink, grey & black uses gorgeous patterned papers from SheryK Designs Etsy Store.

I kept these fairly flat so they could be used as bookmarks!

One Layered Love...

Some CAS one layered cards using 3 great new release Valentine images from the Queen Kat Designs Store!

I know I always say I struggle with CAS cards but these images were perfect for a nice clean look and I printed them on Linen finish card which I think makes them look even better than just printing on smooth finish card.

Love Served on a Platter....

I had some fun yesterday making these ATCs with some brand new images from the Queen Kat Designs Store - just released in time for Valentine's Day creations!

My first ATC uses the image to make the background and I printed it again to add to the serving platter LOL - hence the title of the post!! Collage cherub image is from Gecko Galz. Little heart charm in the corner says "Made with Love"!

My second ATC uses another new image - again I repeated the image to make the background and then printed on image larger to me the feature which I mounted on the ATC backing. I added the red flower for contrast.

Lastly I couldn't resist making a "pink" creation so I used this gorgeous woman also from Gecko Galz along with the heart background paper from the SheryK Etsy Store and printed the "I Love You" image in pink to match - very elegant and a lovely "vintage feel"!

Sophie Dares to be Different....

Sharing  my mini journal pages using a quirky design "Sophie" by Lea Barozzi - available at the Queen Kat Designs Store. I am going to try to make more time for "decorating" my journal pages this year - it's always fun to get the paint and ink out!

I used acrylic paint to cover the pages, added some glitter for sparkle& image was printed on tissue paper and adhered to the page with Modge Podge - great product!

What a great way to start 2014 by getting painty and inky fingers LOL!!! I used acrylic paint and distress inks for the background on my tag - fun!!!

Image was printed directly onto the tag and then I added some rub ons and lots of other little embellishments! Image is by artist Jaz Higgins and is available to purchase at the Queen Kat Designs Store.

I gave this image a totally different look to the last time I used it a week ago to make 2 Xmas cards - I love images that are "versatile" and can be adapted to suit lots of "occasions"!!!
