April Calendar Pages

April 30th 2013

Just snuck in again with getting my pages done for this month for The Kathryn Wheel Challenge!!
For my pages this month I used a credit card to drag the paint down the pages. I used some new images from Angie Delarie to make the "days" of the month and some of her exisiting pre-coloured "Mystery" images - LOL they are trying to unjumble the days of the month which I wrote out randomly! Make sure you check out Angie's Blog for her new release designs this month!! I am so happy I am keeping up relatively well for this calendar challenge!!

Here's my card for the current Just Some Lines "Earth Day" Challenge! I've used 3 different JSL images - the border, the sentiment and cute little Jessie and made a bit of a CAS style card! Happy Earth Day!!!

Butterfly Wishes...

This card is for the new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow where there theme is "Numbers & Letters" - my card has text background plus individual letters to make the words "Best Wishes" & there are some numbers on the background book pages which came from a old maths text book! Image is from Paper Imagery Designs, background is old book pages and old fashioned lantern picture was from a 12 x 12 sheet with all old pictures not sure which company.

A reminder post for our "Things with Wings" challenge at Wicked Wednesday. For this ATC I have used a collage image from Gecko Galz, added a feather and some stamped wording! Simple but I like this image and the saying LOL!!

Tim Holtz April 2013 Tag!

I finally got my April Tag done for Tim's 12 Tags of 2013 - this one was a lot of fun and as usual I improvised with what I had on hand. Stamped image is from Stamp-It (an Australian Company), cog charms are Tim Holtz and a couple of the other charms were from my stash. I didn't have any Distress Paint to give a metallic look so I used my Vintaj Metal Patina Set and they worked in the same way.

Things with Wings

This week at Wicked Wednesday our theme is "Things with Wings" and A Day for Daisies is sponsoring this challenge. We can't wait to see what you create!

I decided to make my ATC into a card for the current ADFD Challenge which required the use of "Newsprint" - perfect for some Bo Bunny Paper I had stashed in the cupboard and hadn't used for ages. I used the latest sketch from the Sketch N Stash Challenge Blog - you also need to use something from your "stash" on your creation so the newsprint paper was one thing I had forgotten about and also the little butterfly charms haven't been touched for quite some time!!!
