Wow the last day of June - who can believe we are halfway through the year!!!! Here's my creation for Week 3 of the Summer of Colour 2013. "Lime Green & Purple" is the colour combo for this week and I have my little ATC to share with you which has a fussy cut photo of my daughter (taken several year ago now) wearing a lime green & purple "Godzilla" dance costume - this was for an amazing dance routine her troupe did - it was quite striking to watch! So it was perfect to create with the fussy cut photo for this weeks challenge! The photo probably doesnt really do the costume justice as it was sprkly shimmery lycra with glossy purple patches!

Bryn & Tup

I loved creating with this great image from Maigan Lynn - available at the Queen Kat Designs Store - it's called "Bryn & Tup" - I love the Steampunk "feel" of this image and it was great to colour with all the background detail!
I used my distressing tool to rough up the edges of the background paper and the image. Cog/gear die cuts and the Happy die cut were coloured with various inks and I added the steampunk style charm to finish it off! Background digital paper is from Archangel Etsy Store.

Bombshell Textures & Layers!

Yes time for another Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop and the theme for this hop is "Texture & Layers"! I recently bought a new stamp set "Butterfly Queen" and had a great time creating this card for the hop! Patterned papers are from a 6 x 6 Bo Bunny Pad I have had for quote some time but the colours were perfect for what I wanted so I layered them on the card & used mounting tape for the Bombshell Babe! I added texture with the mesh, muslin and dry embossing, some braid & charms.

I'm also entering this at the Cards Galore Blog as I used their monthly sektch to layout this card!

A reminder for my "Be Clear" Challenge at Bombshell Stamps - all details at the blog - we would love to see what you can create with acetate or vellum! My card today uses the "Acrylic Smash" Technique which you can find here at Splitcoast Stampers!
This card uses stamps from the Bombshell Angel Set and also Rose's Portrait Set - great stamps!!!
