My post today is for 2 things - firtsly a reminder for our Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge with the theme of Birds, Nests & Eggs - you still have a few days to enter so lets see your creations! And I am also entering this in the current Frilly and Funkie Birds & Nests Challenge! All elements on this ATC are from Gecko Galz - background patterned paper, little flags and chicken image!

Today my tag using all Gecko Galz products is the tag of the day and all the details can be found here so pop over for a look and you can also see the previous "tags of the day" as well - there is some real inspiration & eye candy for Xmas!!!!

There are a few "tag" challenges going on so I am entering this at the Craft Room Challenge for their "Make a Tag" theme plus the Frilly & Funkie "Make it a Tag" Challenge!!

If Nothing Ever Changed...

This fabric hanging has been made with images from Paper Imagery Designs along with a computer generated quote and has been hand stitched by myself. I love making little fabric hangings and I particularly love the quote:

If nothing ever changed there'd be no butterflies.

This is for the challenge the Inspired By Challenge Blog based on the inspiration picture - I've gone with nature & neutral earthy tones. I'm also entering this at the new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow "Things with Wings - Birds, Butterflies and even Bats". There is some great DT inspiration at the blog - gorgeous vintage/shabby chic style creations! I'm also entering my fabric hanging in the current "Brown Tones" Challenge at the It's All About the Vintage Blog. I'm also joining the "Fall into Fall" Challenge at Frilly & Funkie with these earthy tones.

This post is a reminder for our  "From the Past" Challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad which still has a week left to run AND is also my entry for the Gingersnap Creations "Last

The image is from the Altered Pages "Pretty Petticoats" Collage Sheet and the fantastic humourous sentiment - which I thought matched the petticoat lady perfectly - is from CS Designs.

Frilly & Funkie

This is my "vintage" creation for the new blog "Frilly & Funkie" using images from one of my favourite Art Tea Life collage sheets. I love vintage style and I like a bit of fun & humour with it too. I've used co-ordinating coloured card, images, text collage - I've sponged all the edges with Distress Ink to give everything that "aged" look as well. Hope you like my Vintage Bathing Beauty!!

The Frilly and Funkie Blog has already had some great inspiration & ideas so I can't wait for their future challenges too!!
