A fun colour challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions this week - I've used a great new Xmas image from Robert Jackson "Around the Tree" and simply used some red and a bit of gold Kindy Glitz along with black, white & red card! We would love to see your creations!

Altered Xmas Gift Box

A new challenge at Jackson's Digital Expressions this week - we want you to "alter" a box!!! I've altered a little box that a halogen light bulb came in - a cute little box for a "little" xmas gift!!
I painted the box with gesso then red paint and stippled yellow and glittery paint over it then when it was dry I tied green & red ribbon around it and added some holly and a great Xmas image from Robert Jackson "Mr & Mrs Claus"!!!
We can't wait to see your altered boxes with a holiday theme!!

I'm also entering this at the Haunted Design House Macabre Monday "Vampires" themed challenge this week - he is fairly sinsiter looking although I've tried to "soften" him by ading the "Hugs" word LOL!!!

This week at Jackson's Digital Expressions we have a sketch challenge - so pop over to the blog to grab the sketch & get creating! Robert has some great Halloween designs available at his store & I've used this great "Lil Mummy" image combined with some Clip Art Pyramids, fibres & fabric, an Ankh cross charm and hand stamped sentiment! Of course your creation doesn't have to be Halloween theme but you must use the sketch to enter!

A new colour challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions - make a note that we now have "themed" challenges so your entries need to meet the criteria!!!!
This week I've made a wedding card using the challenge colours - blue & raw silk & pink - I've used all metallic sheen card and a great Cuttlebug Embossing Folder & a fantastic "Bride & Grrom" image from Robert Jackson. I "highlighted" the image with lines of colour using Copic Markers & finished off with some little blue diamantis. We would love to see your colour creations this week!

A new challenge this week at Jacksons Digital Expressions & it's time for an Altered Art Creation! Make sure you visit the challenge blog to see all the great inspiration from the DT!
My little gift box has been "altered" as it was a plain box temnplate and I have covered it with some gorgeous Japanese paer, added some fibre, ribbon, handmade ticket & of course a great image from Robert Jackson "Chef Eli". I think this is a perfect little gift box for some handmade sweets!!!

A reminder post for our "Back to School" Challenge at Wicked Wednesday! For this ATC I have used some great new images from Robert Jackson and layered them on an old ruler background along with some fibre and wording. We would love to see your entries for our challenge so make sure you pop over to the challenge blog and join the ATC fun!!
I'm also entering this ATC in the new Desert Islands Crafters Challenge using items from their "itinerary". I've used "Plaid/Tartan" - the high school gal has a plaid skirt, I also have "Numbers" on my ATC and "Something New" - the Robert Jackson images are new to me and finally as I've made an ATC it's "Anything But a Card"!!!!!

A new Sketch Challenge this week at Jacksons Digital Expressions - you can find all the details at the challenge blog. For my card I have turned the sketch upside down and based my layout on that. Background and palm tree are serviettes/napkins - I thought they were perfect for the great "Profile" Digital Stamp from Robert Jackson.

I love my Copic Markers so have made this card using a fantastic & fun "Poodle" image from Robert Jackson coloured with Copics along with a great "circular sentiment" from our sponsor this week "The Cutting Cafe"! Our challenge this week at Jacksons Digital Expressions is a Sketch Challenge. The image I have chosen to use this week from is "The Date" - I think this would make a perfect Engagement Card! Remember to pop over to Robert's Store "Fine Arts by Robert Jackson" to check out the amazing range of images available!
I hadn't used my sewing machine for awhile so I decided to get it out to put this card together - I think the patterned papers and colour theme I decided on is perfect for the machine sewing. I used Wordart to make the "Congratulations" Sentiment.
Here's the sketch and remember to visit the DT Members for more inspiration for this challenge! We look forward to seeing your creations for this new challenge!

This week is my first week as a new Design Team Member at Jacksons Digital Expressions! And the month of July is going to be an exciting time at the Challenge Blog so make sure you visit to get all the details!
The theme for this weeks challenge is a CAS Creation with an optional twist to use flowers but not roses.
This week is my first week as a new Design Team Member at Jacksons Digital Expressions! And the month of July is going to be an exciting time at the Challenge Blog so make sure you visit to get all the details!
The theme for this weeks challenge is a CAS Creation with an optional twist to use flowers but not roses.
My CAS card uses a great image from Robert Jackson - "Vintage Hat" which I have paper pieced using patterned papers from "So Sophie". I coloured her skin with Copic Markers and added pearls along with a die cut flower (not a rose) and branches. I printed the "Best Wishes" sentiment directly on the card along with the Vintage Hat image. I used metallic card hence the shimmer look. I love the effect of paper piecing.
We can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge!!

This is my entry for the current challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions. Last week I won the challenge with my entry so I was pretty excited about that!! This week is Anything Goes and/or use the sketch provided - I have based my card layout on the sketch. The image I have used from Robert Jackson is "My Vacation" - I'm sort of on holidays although it's not Summer here but Winter so I'm trying to relax before the madness of my job starts again !!!
The little flag/banners are from an Etsy Store Ultramarine Stars I discovered whilst searching for banners in these bright colours. I love the background beach theme paper. The 'relax' lettering are from a sheet of stickers I have.
I'm also entering this at ATC's & Cards with Attitude in their "Anything Goes" Challenge. And Emergency Crafters have a "Summer Fun" Challenge. Totally Papercrafts ask that you use a "Digi Image" on your creation with I have done with the Robert Jackson image.

This card has been made with a Digital Stamp from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson. I've only recently come across this range of stamps so I just had to do some "retail therapy" & buy some to play with & join the challenge at Jackson's Digital Espressions Blog. Their theme this week is to "alter" something - the design team have altered coasters - so I decided to cover an old coaster with strips of orange/yellow paper and used it to mount on this card as a backing to the new image "It's Like Poetry". I added the quote and some textured paper. I love to create with bright colours for a change & this has turned out nice & cheery!!
I'm also entering this at Party Time Tuesdays as they have a great bright orange coloured inspiration picture for their current challenge - just perfect for this card!
