Add a Fold to Your ATC!!

A fun and tricky challenge for you this week at Wicked Wednesday - our challenge is to add a fold of some sort to your ATC creation!!!!! Makes you think LOL!! I've added a "fan" to my ATC and I have to say I love this image from our sponsor DRS Designs!!!!! WE cannot wait to see what creative folds you can come up with this week!!!!

I so love the "nudes" available at the SLS Lines Store - there are a couple, like this one, that you can buy individually but you can purchase a "colouring book" filled with them to add to your creations. I like that they are so tasteful.

I used Tim Holtz tissue paper for the background of my page and added a bit of a paint "wash' over the top plus a few drops of black paint. I really thought that the image was enough of a feature so I didn't want to spoil the page with too much else besides the nude sitting on a little piece of black netting fabric and then the Silhouette Cut "Bella" wording. I did distress the edge of the page with Distress Ink. Overall I'm really happy with this page - has a nice soft, subtle feel.

Happy Easter to everyone!!! I just couldn't resist making this little tag especially to have on my blog today using stamps from the Easter Stamp Set by JessicaLynnOriginal - I am just in love with this little bunny stamp!! And I also wanted to make a tag for this weeks Easter Challenge at the Tag Along Blog!! Hope you like it and enjoy your Easter break!!

Light it up Blue for Autism Awareness!

JessicaynnOriginal has joined the Blog Hop for Autism Awareness and has created this amazing FREE digital "Brentwood Owl" in support of Autism - you can grab this free image at the store - why not make a "blue" creation with this image and "Link Up" at the JLO Blog to join in the Autism Awareness Blog Hop and show your support for families affected!!!

I recently purchased a bigger journal to play around in so I printed Brentwood out larger than normal to use. He has been coloured with Copic Markers. For the page background I have used texture paste with a jigsaw stencil cut on my Cameo Silhouette - love the effect. I used some Dylusions sprays in yellow, red & blue and let them drip down the page. I lightly stamped with a texture lettering stamp as well just for a bit more "happenings" on the page LOL!! Bretnwood has been mounted on the page and I used some alphabet stamps to stamp "Autism Awareness"!!!

Unruly Reader's Art Quest for April....

A new month which means a new "prompt" and/or "colour palette" at the Unruly Paperarts Site!! I love the prompt this month "Animal Instincts" which I have used for my "owls" tag - this month I didn't use the colour palette - it's totally up you to make what inspires you from our "theme" so get creating and link up so we can admire your arty creation!!

Image used on my tag is a gorgeous digi stamp available at the Sweet Pea Stamps Store by one of my favourite artists - Regan Kubecek! Tag background acrylic paint and image coloured with Copic Markers. I just fell in love with these little owls and am really happy with how my tag turned out!
