November 30th 2015
Sharing a recently made pocket letter for an Aussie Pocket Letter Group Swap and it is also an inspiration post at the SLS Lines Blog as I used a great image from the SLS Lines Etsy Store along with some great nature digital papers also from the store!
The theme was "a la natural" - I loved how this turned out and my partner was really happy to receive it which is the most important thing!!
I used natural colours along with some soft natural greens, added matching washi tape to the spine with some twine. Hessian, skeleton leaves, muslin cloth, leaves and butterflies decorated the ATC's in the pockets. I coloured the digi Elf Girl with Copic markers, fussy cut her and adhered her to the front of the pockets.

A Cheesy Grin...
November 23rd 2015
I had so much fun creating this journal page with yet another new release image from SLS Lines! And also some new collage elements from Tsunami Rose - a combination of items from 2 DT's I am on!
The big rose labels in the background are the new Tsunami Rose elements and were perfect for using on the background of my journal page.
The "Hand Made With Love" is cut on my Silhouette. And of course I had to colour the image with pink toned Copic Markers!!

Add a Digital Element....
November 21st 2015
A great new challenge for this fortnight at the Spellbinding Stamps Challenge Blog - we would love to see lots of entries this time and remember you can win images from Nikki's Etsy Store just by entering!!!! You don't have to use one of her images but we love it when you do!!!
I've used Nikki's "Copper" digi stamp on tissue paper in the background - I flipped the image so they could be either side of the main image. The main image is from one of Nikki's Digital Collage Sheets - great pre-coloured images - this was from Sheet Number 8 - LOL a perfect match for the digi stamp!!!!
I cut the gears/cogs on my Silhouette and embossed them with gold and maroon embossing powder. Journal page background is paint and ink sprays plus the tissue paper images and a little watch charm to match the theme!!
I really love how this page turned out and it fits perfectly with the digital element theme!!! For more inspiration visit the challenge blog and see what the rest of the DT have created - always amazing creations!

Torn Paper or Edges...
November 20th 2015
A fun new challenge at Wicked Wednesday this week and as you can see from the title of my post it's to use torn paper or tear your edges!! A great sponsor "Sweet Pea Stamps" who are sadly closing down on the 25th November so take advantage of our challenge to win some images before it's too late!!! The image I have used is called "Mermaid with Round Fish" by Molly Harrison - so cute! I've used scrap torn paper that I use to blot when I use my ink sprays - perfect for backgrounds and in this case tearing up, scrunching up and sticking to the ATC backing!!!!
