A journal page made for a Sweet Pea Progressive Challenge at the FB Group a little while ago! The elephant image was the freebie from entering part 1 of the challenge and I couldn't resist teaming it with one of the new rubber stamps I bought from Sweet Pea - Ching Choi Kuik's Golden Promises - a perfect match for the style of my page!
Background done with stencils and acrylic paints. I printed the elephant image multiple times on tissue paper and then added to the page with gel medium. I love the colours and the stamped image on this page.

Sharing another of my Inspiration Wednesday creations (this is Week 8) - I am so loving these lessons by Donna Downey - great to be out of the comfort zone and great to be using some things I have had in my stash for quite some time and never been opened like these chipboard letters LOL!!!
I love this page - like the darker style colours I have used and the overall affect. I've done this as a single page as opposed to normally working in my smaller journal and doing double page spreads. Loved working on the bigger page for this style and the big letters. I look forward to each fortnightly Wednesday for the new lessons - always feel so inspired and creative after watching the videos!

Brentwood Gets "Lost in Space"...............
June 13th 2015
My next creation above is two bookmarks I have done for a swap I am in - theme of "Movies" and how could I resist doing "Lost In Space" - it was one of my favourite TV shows when I was young and still love to watch it and the remake movie wasn't bad - I like Sci-Fi. The yellow backing of the bookmarks is a very thick vellum type paper and I cut the top black layer on my Silhouette. Added the spaceship & Brentwood astronaut to the front with the computer generated wording and some ribbon & twine to the top.
Wow do I have a fabulous new set of stamps to show you from JessicaLynnOriginal!!!! A fabulous "1950's Brentwood Owl UFO" Set of stamps - soooo much fun to create with as you will see above and below I couldn't help myself but make lots of different things!!
Above is my ICAD "title" card for 2015 - I painted the card black and added the ICAD 2015 stamped on ink sprayed card and cut out - Brentwood was also coloured and cut out from card. The "UFO" I embossed with white embossing powder direct to the card background and to finish I printed out the "Lost in Space" wording and adhered to the index card - just love how this turned out!

I just couldn't resist stamping the envelopes as well to post the bookmarks in - front & back shown above - just basic stamping but still decorates the envie for the receiver!
And my final creation is this journal page just for a bit of fun "OMG I said beam ME up Scottie not the bloody cow!" I have embossed gold stars in the background and black paint, added some sticky mesh, ink sprayed muslin and then the wording and the 2 stamped and coloured images from the set - just love this one!!
So if you head over to the JLO Blog and leave a comment you might win a prize and you can also get links to the rest of the DT and check out their amazing creations with this brand new set of stamps!!!!

Summer of Colour Week 1: blue+blue+green
June 10th 2015
Oh wow do I love how this turned out!! I've made this for 2 things - firstly the Summer of Colour has started again over at Kristin's Twinkle Twinkle Blog and this year the theme is "Colour by Number" and for this first week the "formula" is: 1 blue + 1 blue + 1 green! Green and blue are not often colours I use lots of but I'm really happy with how this all looks.
I've also added lots of texture to my card so I can enter at the "Texture" themed challenge at the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge this week!

I sprayed the background with 2 shades of blue and one of green and spritzed with water and then added some paw prints with texture paste and resprayed the prints with green to make them stand out. I tore some scraps of paw print dog paper and layered them then sprayed those too for more colour. to finish I added some sticky builders mesh, sprayed muslin cloth, cut the bones and "woof" on the Silhouette and then of course my favourite little Pitt Bull Stamp from my favourite artist JessicaLynnOriginal coloured with Copic Markers - of course I did a 2-toned blue scarf for the Summer of Colour theme LOL!!!
