JessicalLynnOriginal SALE "$1.00 DIGIS ALL WEEKEND"

A fun blog hop to promote a special $1.00 digi sale at the JessicaLynnOriginal store this weekend - lots of digis to choose from so pop over and grab these specials while you can and check out the rubber stamps available too!!

I'm sharing 2 creations with a couple of the $1.00 digis. Above is one of my favourite digis - I just love this Egyptian style cat! I've coloured the image with pastel pencils and fussy cut and added it to a digital layered image I printed out on glossy photo paper. All the images from the collage are from the Remember Me Now Etsy Store - they were just perfect elements for my Egyptian Card - I've always been a bit of a fan of Egyptian style!

My next creation is a large journal page using this sooo cute baby giraffe digi!! I had the perfect serviettes to layer on the page background and the 2 giraffes from the serviette were just right - the other bits of napkins were animal print and I put a wash of Gesso over the most of the page just leaving the 2 giraffes exposed, added a bit of ink spray plus some sticky mesh and muslin cloth and the little scrabble letters in the top corner. I coloured the giraffe with oil pastels - I've been playing around with a few different colouring mediums to have some fun and get some new skills LOL!!

I'll Put a Spell on You & an Announcement!!!

An announcement today over at the Spellbinding Stamps Blog!!!!!!!! The new DT is announced and I am on it - yay - I'm very honoured to be a DT member for Nikki Burnette - just love her images - they are perfect for me to create with - love the fantasy style! Make sure you pop over to the blog and see who else is on the team and take a look at their creations too!

Today I am sharing a large journal page I made using "Ashlyn" - a gorgeous witch available at Nikki's Etsy Store along with a huge range of amazing images to create with - I have trouble deciding which ones I want to create with!

I added lots of texture to my page - the background is a piece of scrunched up tissue paper, ink sprays, star sequins and some "cobweb" stuff from a Halloween pack! I cut the cauldron and bottles on my Silhouette and then embossed them with embossing powder - just love the green and purple sparkle!

"Ashlyn" image coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut - of course you know I have a white space phobia!!! I used mounting tape to adhere her to page for more dimension. I love how this page turned out. This page was submitted with my DT application and now I have the chance to share it!

Halloween Cupcakes!!!!!

I had so much fun creating these Halloween treat boxes!!!! I've used papers from Tsunami Rose "Witches Brew Journal Kit" - available at the Etsy store and just perfect for Halloween coming up next month!!!

I cut the box 'base' and patterned layer on my Silhouette - this box is one of my favourite shaped boxes - always looks so great decorated!

Stamps coloured with Copic markers - endless possibilities for colouring these - I could have gone more 'ghoulish' but decided to stay with the colours of the papers and be a bit more sedate LOL!!!

Splatters or Sprays....

A fun challenge at Wicked Wednesday this week - let's see what you can do with sprays or some splatters on your ATC for this week's challenge!!!! My two ATC's using amazing images from our sponsor - Vera Lane Studio - have spray backgrounds, sprays on the little wording cards and on the witch ATC (I sprayed the muslin scrap with sprays to colour it as well! FUN FUN FUN!!!!! Can't wait to see your colourful ATC's this week!

A fun theme and one that I'm sure you all have images for - Coffee & Cream is the theme for our Reader's Art Quest at the Unruly Paperarts Site!!

Gorgeous "Coffee Piper" digi stamp is from Some Odd Girl - they have some great quirky images I love creating with! The coffee "java" mug, photo corners and flowers are from Latte Dah Designs Etsy Store - these elements were just perfect for my card.
