Blank Page Muse Stamps: Forever February!

February 6th 2024

Today I am sharing an altered index card along with new digital download images available in store!

Products used:
Blocks Pattern Stencil designed by Deadseatoons
"Forever" word stamp from the Romance Classic Couples Set

I've used a 6 x 4 index card which already had a "painty" background from excess paint from another project! I used the block pattern stencil and added some texture paste.
I printed the digital page onto light cardstock and fussy cut the images I wanted to use.
I stamped the word "forever" onto fabric and sewed onto a piece of scrap patterned card by Pam Bray.
I arranged all the collage images and stamped wording onto the index card along with a vintage focal image (Tim Holtz paper doll).
To finish off I zigzagged a border with my sewing machine.

Hope you feel inspired to try something a bit different with the calendar download!

Blank Page Muse Stamps: Loooooong Snippet Rolls!

August 17th 2022
Today I am sharing a couple of snippet rolls I whipped up with scraps!

I've been wanting to create one of these for ages - these are just the most perfect thing to make to use up all of your scraps, excess stamped images, bits & pieces in general - perfect for those of us that just cannot bear to throw anything away - even the tiniest bit of paper!

I had lots of fun delving through my scraps and excess stamped Blank Page Muse images!
I used offcuts of patterned papers designed by Pam Bray available in store along with all the fab rubber stamps by various artists!
I had bits and pieces of background papers/tissue papers using BPM stamps so they were perfect.
As you can see I ran the metre long strip through the sewing machine just to doubly secure everything!

I had so much fun - I have some base strips all ready to create even more of these wonderful snippet rolls! Remember you can add stickers, charms, buttons - any embellishments you have to make your strips even more decorated! Or add extras when you cut off "snippets" to use on your creations!

Brentwood Owl and His Spring Chickens........

February 27th 2016

"Brentwood Spring Chickens" is being showcased by all the DT and artist/owner Jessica so make sure you hop around all the blogs to see what creative fun you can have with this set! As always I've made several different things so you can see the versatility of the set because as you may know I like stamps that have multiple uses!!

Above is a card I made with some great "farm" feel digital patterned papers available from Etsy at the Starglow Studio Store - fun papers and perfect for this card! As you can see I used my sewing machine to stitch all the card elements. Brentwood stamp and the fence stamp were coloured with colour pencils. The sentiment is also part of the set - a fun stamp!! Added some sticky mesh and bits of raffia type strands to look like straw!! AND I am entering this card in the current "Birds of a Feather" challenge at the Cardz 4 Guyz Blog!!!!

Below is a set of 2 ATC's made with an ink sprayed and stencilled background, images stamped on white card and again coloured with colour pencils plus more of the "straw"!!! And below the ATC's is a set of 9 "inchies" made with the same ink sprayed backing card and more stamps, colouring and fussy cutting!!
